When I first heard Brits saying maths, it rang strangely to my U.S. ears, but then I thought, it's mathematics, plural, and we say mathematics, so why do we shorten it to math rather than maths. I appreciate these lessons. Very helpful. Alex

They can be both. Tend to be paperback. Composition just refers to a particular size of a book although many books that call themselves composition books ignore this fact!

Paul FYI you made a slight error in explaining the color wheel. The primary colors are R-B-Y. You said green instead of yellow. Blue+yellow=green. Thanks for all your great info!

RGB (red, green, and blue) refers to a system for representing the colors to be used on a computer display.🙏🏻

As an artist, I agree. The colours Paul is talking about are the colours used for computers and printers but they are not the true "primary" colours, which are, as you've said, Yellow, Red, and Blue in their truest forms. The true "secondary" colours are an equal mixture of two of these colours, to therefore arrive at Orange, Purple, and Green.

You can use some images for free but it looks like you are limited to selling only 50 items with that image. I would advise checking out their licesning page for the full information you would need.

I just spent all day yesterday making these kinds of notebooks I did Math, English & Science in 5 different colors & going to make more subjects today. wish I could get your input on my designs. Ever since I watch one of your videos. I have been able to learn quickly but still working on coloring & tracing books

It was just so one could see the book cover as it appears on Amazon without the distraction of the back cover. Purely demonstration purposes and not meant to be some technique or method you should follow.

Love your videos, but the three primary colors are: red, blue, and yellow (not green). You make greens by mixing blue and yellow.

I find the soft covers sell more. But it will largely depend on the niche.

If you're in the US, google 'Bowker ISBN'. I don't provide any book review services at the moment. If someone leaves a review and photo, yes it helps but don't get someone to do it. You risk getting your account banned. All reviews should be natural organic reviews.

It's an issue with the content you're trying to submit but impossible for me to say what bit of the content is causing an issue.

Sorry but GREEN is not a primary color but a secondary one made out of 2 primary colors, blue + yellow.

12 is not many. My advice is to create more. It's a creative business and takes time to learn all the skills to the point you can create products that customers want to buy.

Hey Paul. I love your videos! I have a question! Is there anything that can show me how to publish a book with actual photos? Before I found your channel, I had started a children's book, and I paid for images, and I'd like to get it published, but I'm worried the pictures will not show up correctly, and I have, to date, only found one video which shows conversions, but only for a certain size. Any tips you can offer me, I would be Forever Grateful! I think it would be a really cute book and a lot of people with children will like it, so I'd really like to get it up on KDP. If it's actual photograps rather than illustrations I don't think KDP is the best option as I don't think the quality of the paper is suited to actual photographs. You would want thicker glossy paper I would've thought.

Hi Paul, I think that once you earn money you have to pay tax. How do you do this? Is it automatic or do you have to do it yourself? Does it matter if it is in pounds or dollars? Great if you could make a short video on this.

Hi Paul. Very helpful videos. I have a question though. I want to do a journal with a few pictures throughout the journal. I want my picture to appear on the left side of the page of the journal. There are 120 pages total. This may be a stupid question - but how do I know the page placement and if it will appear on the left or the right side of the journal?

Green it's not a primary colour. It's made from blue+ yellow ; these are 2 primary colours. And red, too.

Not for paint, but for light green is a primary color along with red and blue. Hence why TVs and computer screens use RGB pixels (red, green blue).

It depends on the book. For notebooks and journals yes but for books such as puzzle books and coloring books it's unadvisable.

I have no idea regarding your question regarding ISBN. It's only recently been implemented and I don't have enough data or heard of any data as yet. It hasn't stopped me designing and uploading them and there are ways aroound the lack of Look Inside feature. The more you create the more you're books are likely to be seen based on the fact you're more likely to create something that is a hit with customers but I don't think Amazon promotes them more purely based on the number you;ve published.

Host the pages on your own website and use Pinterest ads to drive traffic to it. Pay no more than $1 a day for no more than a week. After that, you decide if you want to continue advertising. If you don't want to pay for it, you can get a free one at WIX, but their ad will be displayed on your site. I also say "visit the website to learn more" in my book description, without actually using the web address. Since my web address is the same name as my company and my pen name, it doesn't violate the rules.

You can change the interior and republish it.
