I also prepooed with aloe vera, and my hair loveddd it!! I am a happy camper. I have also started oiling and massaging my scalp several times a week. My wash day routine during quarantine has helped with the health of my hair, and ive been using a consistent routine every 7-10 days! I will be documenting my results!

Never found a better deep condish for my high porosity hair than good ole mayonnaise (Heinz mayo to be exact). I mix that with a protein condish for extra strength and to minimize the mayo scent. I use it with my microwave heat cap and never had an issue with it cooking in my hair. Done weekly, it's a game changer!

Hey Curly. When you spoke about TIME, it is so true for nurturing and growing healthy natural hair. I used to try and rush thru all my hair day steps without the success that I was longing for. Then I decided to make the process easier by taking my time and extending hair day into two days (sometimes three days) depending on the length of time for each step. Not rushing those steps have helped my hair health and growth immensely. Also when I was rushing it was stressful to me and my hair. Stress is detrimental period. When I saw the video come up I was preparing to do my twists, so I decided to wait until I took a break. HERE I AM. BTW, I am trying msm in my oils again. I thought it was making my hair brittle and I was just ingesting it with juice. Now that I have returned to using it it seems to be working fine. Thanks as always ✌🏾

I’ve tried mayonnaise on both wet and dry and it was different, but add an essential oil like peppermint or lavender just to get that egg smell off of your hair. I’ve deep condition since I big chop it works wonders

Curly Proverbz gurl it’s the “bomb”. I’ve started my natural hair journey in January 2020. Your channel has been a God send. At 68 and my grandmother taught me a great deal about taking care of my hair. I was relaxed for 30 years or more. Now I’m mixing my own products how my Nana taught me. My daughter wants me to sell my growth oil in her salon. Gotta pray about that one 🙏🏽 At this point I make it for family. Can you make a video about “Sea Moss” for your hair and diet. Don’t see very many video’s for

Hey Farida, nice to have meet you on your channel. Just recently turned into your subbie. I have been watching some vid's but have a question or maybe a challenge to you. Aren't you going to publicize a book with all your hair recipes, tips and tricks or whatever for all gals that struggles with growing hair and retaining the lenght and/or just have a healthy hair; for naturals or relaxed hair, from fine to the coarse 4-type hair. Thanks so so much, you're so lovely and caring. Pink is your color most definitely. Keep posting at KZread.

How did i miss this in real time?!?! Just turned on the post notifications!😅 I live by deep conditioning, ever since I started my transitioning journey...so I’ve been deep conditioning once a week for roughly 3 and a half years...I may have missed 3...during that time and I definitely noticed a difference. Interesting coconut milk...I’ve tried the banana 😅...but never tried avocado yet. I love store bought deep conditioner!!! But I love the idea of adding herbs to that! I think that’s the best option for me and my life! So just use 1 teaspoon or can you add more? Or is this just a start? Love the content!!!

You tell the truth about castor oil. I was struggling to maintain moisture in my curls. They would be really defined on wash day. The next day, my curls looked as if I'd applied no product. Once I started mixing castor oil with my Shea butter, my curls began retaining moisture.

She said you do not need to use heat as moisture easily permeates the hair shaft , you'll still need to cover your hair however to prevent moisture going out.
