Implement the strategy ang face the loss because this gentlement has not covered the freak trade slippage and frequent stoploss hunting in the market.

Sir, I have just started seeing you videos. I liked your own version of double stardle in which when 1 side becomes ATM then you sold the opp side. I trade in scripts instead of Banknifty or Nifty50. To day I applied your strategy in Titan because it went by 10% up in 2days but your strategy saved me a loss of 25k now. Let me see what happens later on but presently it has covered 5k as sript has started reverse Thank you very much for the video.I have understood Stardle gut after seeing it 2/3 times I will try implementing it in some script.

When market is in V shape, it will hit both SL. After that if it go W, M, hexagonal , Ameeba no matter. Max loss case is V shape. After watching this advertisement video, my opinion on this channel changed.

This strategy is good to take a fixed salary from the market. Only issue is that we need a large capital to take a meaningful profit.

Can this 9.20 short straddle strategy be used for Nifty on all the weekdays?

For last few days, (even in the past) Morning (till other markets by opens 12:30-1 ) prices will move in one direction and either PE/CE SL will hit (keeping 25%-30% SL) and afternoon, it reverses its direction and hit SL of another. Must have BIG pockets...

Jegan what if We Include That DD portion of Strategy into Capital itself, like:- 2,32,000 Without Hedging, and 1,32,000 With Hedging, then it will change whole mind set and huge drawdown can be niglated and can enjoy superior profits.

Because it will have a very high probability of hitting the stop loss if trailed.

Why hedged position drawdown is bigger than without hedged position? Can anyone please explain this?

with hedge you will trade 2 lots instead of 1 so loss would be doubled.

Follow this - 1. Entry @ 9.30 AM,,,, Exit at 3.29 PM 2. Sell ATM CE & PE 3. Put a SL @ 50% for both CE & PE 4. If one hits the SL, exit the other as well. 5. Max Drawdown is 18000 for a capital of 2L, which is 9%

In short one has to decide whether he is more comfortable with more drawdown and more profit or less drawdown and less profit !!!

For intraday's, I usually follow spot price and for positional I use futures. I usually prefer to sell at 10:00 am.. or at 1pm for intraday(By the time volatility subsides) exit at 2:55 pm(After 3pm there will be wide swings in prices) I follow somewhat different

I also experienced this selling at 10 am and 1 am gives nice returns.

It's unnecessary tension. If it is a V-shaped recovery both sides SL will hit (Psychological effect) Better to trade weekly strategies you don't need to look continuously. You can get easily 10-12 thousand per month.

Trail your SLs. V shapes are very rare, would be dumb to stay out of non directional strategies because of once a month V shaped move.

@@muditshrimali If a V-shaped recovery happens you will lose the whole 5 day's profit. Moreover sl will hit 2 -3 times a week. I already traded this strategy before this new margin rule came. I said from my personal experience. Now I am trading weekly strategies with proper adjustments. Profit is almost the same. Margin will be less when compared to intraday. I am not against this strategy .I said my opinion

Nifty doesn't have such premium ... So problem is nifty doesn't move much in one direction because of lot of shares weightage ..this is directional strategy with good risk and reward along with decay edge ...I guess simple straddle In nifty along with sl of greater than 40 will work

Hi. Not sure how I will get drawdown of 32k with hedges and 30% SL. ? For one lot of BN to get DD of 32k it has to move 1500 points one sided without hedge. Which is very unlikely

Not to blame the effort of one person trying to teach something .. honestly what i see is, If this strategy gives return of 10% per month as highlighted , it turns out to be CAGR of 120% per annum… then the whole world would be talking about Jegan and this strategy and no one would be talking about Warren Buffett..

Have you tested this? You must haven't. Short shraddle at 9:20, exit at 3:20 with 30% Stoploss on both sold legs. Offcourse you must not knowing where to test it right? ( Can guess from your comment) test it on stock mock. Do some research first before sharing the knowledge, which basically you don't have.

Now a days play one side move..without hedge...all straddles sl hit in every 15 to 20mins that much move happening now..all bank down last week..now..indus ind 100 point move ..kotak 100point move ..the other axis sbi big expect coming week. Once all bank ATH will made then...they will show ATL in a short period of time..if some one put 1000 qty sell order at any strike..FII kick them out first in 15mins ..you any one try it..you will feel the heat...if u don't put sl they will make ur account in -50%..so .better play with 1lot sell for fun...now a days u cant make huge money with huge lot selling ..do safe trade

Divide your day in 6 hours I e 6 parts . Sell at 9.20 but den check at 10.20 and reset your straddle at point of 10.20 whatsoever profit or loss..and continues at every 11.20 12.20 till 3.20 . It's call moving straddle profit strategy. Which will don't need any sl. Only edge is mk should not move in one hour the total range he wants to move in whole day

Option sellers eat like chicken and shit like elephant. So to save hair on your head you need Stoploss in option selling. Even if it gives loss on both sides in v shape. Limited loss is ok.
