i've driven a ruf ctr2 in a sim racer and this is very relatable.

Somehow I still remember how many times this anime emphasises that tuning won't work like magic tricks and there are many other aspects that needs to be taken into account (especially in the Supra episodes). It doesn't tend to overglorify the power of tuning, thus I consider it a meaningful lesson to learn.

Scenes analyzed: 1. Cars....10/10 for performance 2. Understeers.....11/10 3. Oversteers.....11/10

Blackbird saves the Z it was the most epic scene imo

probably a nod to the influx of "Big Altima Energy" in the late 2000s.

I remeber having a list where I countet them all while watching. At some point I gave up.

First accident was unrealistic. Firstly, the cones and barriers only went past his car. It only hit the bumper so how did the window even shatter. The next thing is his car was facing forward directly but somehow his car decided to yeet itself into the wall. Then once the car bounced off the guardrail it didn’t spin as realistically but instead didn’t move a single inch and just yeet itself into the same guardrail.

But yeah, neither Akio nor the devil Z are prepared for the touge, In universe, Takumi would beat Akio in a touge, and Akio would run circles around Takumi in the highway, Almost like a racecar and a rallycar, go figure... I think that we are forgoting something Important. Touge is a discipline were maneaurability is paramount, all the power in the world is meaningless if the car strugles to turn at speed. On the other hand, Highway run or Sprint races are all about speed and stability, and thats important because maneaurability and stability are the oposite of the other. By definition, a more maneaurable car is less stable, and a more stable car is less maneaurable.

Most of these are devil z's and gtrs
