Throwing kicks, Clinching and wrestling are all things Wand has to avoid. Like Chael said before Anderson, "I'm gonna wait for him to throw a kick, put my forehead into his chest and run my first into his head for 25 minutes until he gives up." He only has to go 15 mins

wouldn't help him at all. his takedown defense is atrocious. he should stick to jiujitsu so he can hopefully play with some sweeps or win via submission. he has a glass jaw so brawling will get him clipped and anything else chael is going to hold him down and hit him 300 times or until he gives up!

Kinosis79 Haha Sonnen has been specifically working on his jiu-jitsu for years because he used to get submitted a lot. Now he is submitting guys like SHOGUN, it is more likely that Sonnen will submit Wanderlei.

For the ppl who are constantly saying he should only train takedown defense and nothing else..do you guys really believe wand doesn't know what chael will most likely do? Wand has great takedown defense, he hardly has been taken down, and when he has, he quickly gets back up. Wand also has the most viscous knees in mma history, you guys do realize wand literally wants to kill chael? I see chael diving into a crushing knee from wand, no doubt about that.. Wands stance is very low, the chances of chael going for a takedown and smashing his head into one of wands's knee are pretty high. Wand will be net cautious, and chael will desperately try to take him down. C'mon it's not rocket science.

Chael has trained his entire life for this style. Wanderlei would be wasting his time over-training takedown defense. It won't matter.

leo nanos I heared today that the fight ain`t gonna happen, but i don`t thing wanderlei is scared or something like that. I really belive that he can beat chael very easy , but i heared from chael that wanderlei wasn` training at all for this fight and he alson had a break from fighting like....` 12 months but, he was in a good shapes and the fight is only in july and 2 months for a guy that is already in shape i think is enough but...this is life. Also is so frustrating to fight a guy who insulted you so much and is the most trash talking person from MMA , and when you fight those kind of guys , the first thing that came into your mind is.......i`m gonna kill him when the bell rings and you don`t concentrate at all on your`re strategy or things like that and you can loose. Being agressive is very good but you have to be a little bit focused or just to be in that fight ,and....i`m upset man cause i really wanted to see that fight. I don`t really know what the fuck is going on but, i really wanted to see the fight man . FUCK

Calin Mihai thats chaels strategy and he ist the best when it comes to promoting fights and getting into an opponents head before the fight he's fucking clever but anyway if i remember right dana said that the nevada athletic comission went to silvas gym after the press converence for ufc 175 and wanted to take a test for roids and wand ran out of the gym and drove away and thats basically saying that you took something so he's now out and vitors in which makes it a way more interresting fight in my opinion because vitors is a way better fighter thand wanderlei is if silva would fight chael it would be an easy win for sonnen because he allredy got into wands head and silva is not known for being the most versatile and techinical fighter in the world if sonnen could have bring the fight to the ground (which he 100000% could) the fight would be over pretty much not hating on silva tho he was one of my favorite fighters for a long time

leo nanos I really don`t think that every trash that sonnen said to silva , arrived in silva`s head cause both know that this is a bussiness and they wanna sell the fight .When sonnen started the trash talk . after a few days they were in the same car , and they were talking like friends , like normal persons and wanderlei tell sonnen that he should stop talking so much trash , but silva was no upset or furious , cause belive me that 80 % of the trash talk is for bussiness and silva knows it but the other 20% get into silva`s head . But i dont think that if they will fight , the silva will fight like a blind furious man , cause he is a professional , but .... from my own opinion ....i don`t know any reason that should make silva calling up the fight .And belfort vs sonnen is not so interesting that wanderlei vs sonnen , lets be real cause they hated eachother a little and they were different type of fighters and would be awesome if they will fight , but its dissapointing for the fans .

Calin Mihai we all know silvas fighting style he's more of a brawler than a mixed martial artits and he is one dimensional and has no chance against sonnen on the ground and chael is more of a complete fighter at least he is more complete than silva in my opinion i can't see any way how silva would've won the fight sonnens standup is not the best but he isn't a wild brawler type like silva and that brawler type is in my opinion the worst fighting style u can have and it can and most likely will fuck yourself up because you leave too big openings for takedowns and your punches aren't very precise and like i said as soon as sonnen gets the fight on the mat it's over for silva belfort on the other hand is a very dangerous stand up fighter and has a very good technic on the feeds aswell on the ground so i find this fight more interessting because it's more of an unpredictable fight than silva sonnen in my opinion

funny. wandy is rough in training! thoise were some good shots. but the ppl he is training with are too scared to punch back as they dont want to be the one who ruined wandy's trip to the hospital! just after 175
