"Calling yourself a witch." I'd love to know why sorcerers in the MCU think they're better than witches. As far as I can see, witches are born with their magic. Sorcerers have to take theirs from other sources.

One of the coolest things about this fight scene, that I don't see a lot of people talk about is how Wanda sees the sorcerers do something...and then mimics it perfectly. They shoot her with that Magicked shell, she creates her own and shoots them back, they shoot her with magick arrows, she blocks them all and then (by herself) creates enough to take all the archers out. She adapts almost instantly to what they do, and then does it better. She has more power because of the Darkholde, but I doubt that book taught her those skills.

She always had the power, but the Darkhold educated her on how to wield her Chaos Magic in more ways & showed her new spells to study & use. That's why Agatha said Wanda's problem isn't power, its knowledge. She never even knew she was the Scarlet Witch or had Chaos Magic until the end of WandaVision, thanks to Agatha. Without her, Wanda may have gone many more years unaware of her true power & her true title.

Yeah.... I am still mad how could Daenerys do that after they surrendered. Iron Fleet and Golden Company were wiped out. Lannister army immediately surrendered. The only barrier between her and the victory was the Red Keep where Cersei was hiding. Destroy her and take the throne! I do not find a single logic behind killing all the civilians. And if anyone defends her because she was mentally devastated - then clearly Daenerys was not worthy to rule. A responsible ruler can't act like unhinged maniac. It’s like justifying a dictator's war crimes because of his paranoia. In the end, they made her worse than Cersei. And I seriously liked Daenerys at first! I don’t understand why the filmmakers or show runners empower women to god level only to show us later that those women are unable to control their emotions or keep their cool in difficult situations.

We were made to like her, to root for her, hints about her insanity were dropped there and there. Most did not want to see them. Both in the show and the audience. It's a shame Barristan had to die. He could have helped. In the end the "final heel turn", was rushed and poorly executed, like the whole 8th season, but it did not come out as a surprise for me, this was always going to happen. Her grandfather had no reason but pettiness to try and burn King's Landing to the ground, neither did she, she just succeeded. @@biwakigaming_offical I think its maybe the initial pain of her first time having someone enter her mind. Nobody in the MCU has forced their way into Wanda's head before, not even Agatha. She had to pluck a strand of Wanda's hair to replay Wanda's memories, which Wanda subconsciously indulged in. Xavier just charged into Wanda's mind against her will and he's powerful, so maybe the strength of his power entering her mind gave her an initial headache.

I like how instead of trying to negotiate with her or even reason with her, he basically told her to f off.... idk why they would trust someone like strange whom is known to be like this, THEY EVEN KNEW, WONG KNEW. He is the sorcerer Supreme, shouldn't have it been his responsibility? Ik wanda was corrupted by the darkhold but she wasn't as currupted as agatha, she was still sane even to be reasoned with, she was just hurt and needed someone to talk to or be there for her, so why would they send someone responsible for the events that happened to her, ik it's not stranges fault but nonetheless, he was still apart of it whether u like it or not. I think Wong would've reached out to her, offering her a home or guidance if given the chance, they offered it to America, why not wanda? I just feel they didn't try enough for her. She was a hero they made a villain.

I’m sorry, but….what? There were moments they tried to reason with her, it just wasn’t what you expected. It disappoints me that people expected Strange to be super sweet and friendly when Wanda herself was clearly not interested in resolve. She wanted America to steal those children and that was that. Strange tried making her realize what her plans meant for the mother of the children she planned to steal, Wong asked her if it wasn’t enough to know her children were safe and happy, Mr. Fantastic was empathetic with her and even told her “I have children of my own”…. What Wanda needed was herself, hence the scene where her alternate self showing her compassion shocks her. Strange, Wong or America didn’t have to be there for her after everything she was putting them through. Wanda had the support, but she pushed everyone away and isolated herself. All the support in the world won’t change that Wanda needed to show herself some love and support, not someone else to fix her problems for her.

@@evillconcarne have u seen the movies? Judging from this Ig you haven't. Ik strange is mostly about logic and what not which is why he was the wrong person to go about this. He literally told her to eff off when he went to talk to her, you act like losing everything you have and being left nothing is her problem, what do you think hurt ppl do? They lash out or close themselves off, this is why I don't like ppl like you, you use their depression and sadness as a way to villainize them. Wanda literally had nothing nor noone whom reached out to her, the avengers were her family and they didn't even call nor check up on her, hell it's proves that they weren't really her family in the first place but she saw them as family. She was literally left alone, and those children they she wanted to "steal" she just wanted them back and she had to choose either them or Westview, she choose Westview, that speaks volumes in on itself. She was a mother who just wanted her children back, any parent would do the same to just see their children they just lost. She was corrupted by the darkhold, still doesn't justify what she did but do you really think the avengers did any better? They all basically went their own ways and left wanda behind after starks death.

@@brentthomas6576 “literally told her to eff off”. PLEASE please please tell me what scene he did this to her in? You’re using literally as if he explicitly told her those words. Choose your words a little more wisely, because you’re just making up a tone and scene that didn’t happen. Ironic coming from someone who started their reply with “did you even watch the movie”. Strange had no obligation to approach her kindly and caring. She threatened him and Kamar Taj the last time he saw her. You really expect him to just disregard that and tread lightly to avoid “hurting her feelings”….. “People like you”, huh? Fine, since we’re wording it this way, this is why i CAN’T STAND people like you: You expect support systems to be the solution and fix someone else’s problems as if they don’t have their own families and responsibilities. Did you have this same argument when no one looked for Thor until they needed him in Endgame? How everyone around him didn’t bother to check up on him properly that he coped with alcohol and his grief got turned into a joke by making him fat?. And please, no one villainized her depression, so i’ll kindly ask you to not put words in my mouth and keep your feelings out of this conversation to avoid putting your foot where your mouth is. I’m just tired of people acting like Wanda is some helpless child who needed saving and then villainizing the avengers that “didn’t come to help her”. You mean some of the same Avengers that sought out support themselves? I repeat, Wanda CHOSE to isolate herself and pushed away anyone that tried to reason with her. SHE was the solution and SHE was the one who need to be there for herself. Hence, why the scene where her alternate self shows her compassion shocks her. She was missing self love. I’d say you’d have seen it if you actually watched instead of painting everyone else around her like the bad guy for not sweet talking her when she was adamant about doing things her way, no matter what approach they took.

Maybe this is just me, but I feel like she picked the wizard at 4:05 to mind control because he shares a resemblance to Pietro prior to them getting their powers. He used to have long curly brown hair like in the Winter Soldier end credit scene. She even tells him to 'Run'. Not sure if this was intentional but that's how I took it when I saw this in theaters.
