I had the previous version but i sadly returned it, i couldnt bare the autofocus, it prevented me from placing it more than 3 meters from my wall, and the vignette effect in the corners made me craaaaaaazy. i had the Wanbo T2 pro and it was almost flawless, i just wished the performance was faster as the T2 max.

Thank you too! Sadly, not possible. But the actual brightness is 186 ANSI Lumens only. So it might suits your requirement. 😅

thanks for this detailed review 😀. Could you explain why you consider contrast ratio is more important than ANSI Lumens in your score ranking ? because I see the new T2 max is ranked higher than x5.

You are most welcome! Contrast ratio is as important as brightness. Not more. Score ranking is just a reference. Pick the one that suits your needs and budget. If you want brighter one, X5. Better contrast = New T2 Max.

Yes, it will fit well.

Hi Jayce, did you update the score criteria in your best projector list? The T2 Max New went from 61 score to 50 score. Does brightness now play a bigger role in your scores?

Yes, contrast ratio score was reduced to half. Weighted too much on previous ranking system.

The HDMI supports ARC so you can plug a soundbar and subwoofer in it for better sound. If you want Bluetooth sound it has sound delay because inbuilt BT4.2, so use google chromecast with tv in hdmi and use Bluetooth from that to the speaker for good sound with no delay.

You can't change Android UI image. Changes apply to HDMI and video only.

No. But not much to do on fully enclosed optical projector like New T2 Max. Just vacuum the air inlet from time to time. That's all.

Hi, would really like to have your opinion since the only projectors in my choices are the T2 Max, Diva Pro, and X5. Can you give me a recommendation since the Diva is almost $50 less than the T2 and X5 and since the Best Projector List you have given the Diva is on the "Discontinued" side so I can't see what was the actual ranking if it was on the "Best Projector" tab

Hello again i keeped on looking for projectors and you have the New t2 max quite higher than the T4 in your list. i can get the T4 for like 230euros and the new T2 Max for 180. i cant see any diffrences to justify why i should go with the T4 . The t2 max is lighter and more compact with the same feautres if not mistaken . Can you tell me if i am missing something ? Should i get the T2 Max or the T4? thanks

His ranking since early this year was changed from performance to best performance for money. This is why this projector got higher in ranking while my favourite zhenevo Z1 is low ranking

But I'm not happy with this machine(I've got it right before today) This does not support HDR(I got to know what 'HDR decoding' means today), and even can not support passthough Dolby Digital through HDMI ARC I'm now looking for a Android TV box that supports DD passthrough through the optical spdif port. Many people do not know 'Sounds' do much more for immersive experience than Screen. I can not use any projector without my HTS. Thank you again Jayce

Bro, sadly every Wanbo projectors have the same issue, many lumens less in the real use vs lumens declared in specs. I got a Wanbo T6 Max, listed 650 ANSI lumens, 250-280 max in real use.
