We would love as a wing chun comunity to know what your thoughts are on MMA and why many wing chun masters are afraid to prove their art and the topic of many masters losing their fights. Some people who have been training for 10 years + and still losing against some MMA guy who has been training for 2 years. What is the future of Wing Chun?

Perhaps retitle, "applications of wing chun" - "practical Wing Chun" implies that generally WC is impractical...which would be incorrect. There was this one place advertising 'practical wc' and they focused on fast hands...but they fell apart when pressure tested because they did not train the core fundamentals, instead focusing on fast chi sau, how to amass techniques and using speed...when observing their Siu Lum Tao, it was useless as they did not understand the correct way to do the set, they did the set in less than 2 minutes flat, then they moved on to drills and chi sau... needless to say, they had no sensitivity and proprioception/awareness of they center of gravity, so they could not detect the center of gravity of their opponents, they could not connect to the opponent's core in order to neutralize them. They just used fast hands and technique memorization from the drills to try to win...but it only worked against their own...when they encountered non-drill based resistance, they froze and got confused and resorted to brute force.
