Testing the bridge with homemade new supports and lined up right. Driven by the Walthers motor and by DCC Lenz decoder. Runs good isn't it? :)
Жүктеу.....

Very cool, I like that you converted to a single track, I too have the kit, but I'm also wanting to change to a single track. Thanks for sharing

Did you kit bash the Walthers dbl track or use another single truss bridge kit?

Your welcome! Sorry, typed in the wrong answer ;) It is the double track swing bridge from Walthers. I narrowed it to single track. You can see the build of that and the layout around it at: www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/110809-from-eugene-to-florence-southern-pacific-on-the-coos-bay-branch/ Please enjoy it! :)

So, Walther's only makes a double track version. So they make you pay double and you have to cut it all down and have extra pieces that you'll probably never use! Walther's strikes again.

Very cool. I way wondering, how the the eges of the moving platform clear the edge of the stationary platform when the bridge swings open? If appears as if there is a small gap between the two. If that is the case, wouldn't the track rails have gaps also?

Yes, there are small gaps. But these are not a problem, the trains will pass without problems :) Thanks for you interest! Grtz, Ronald.

@@nlron I think you could close up the Gap by making one rail longer than the other and having them meet at an angle
