After switching from an inheritance of Roman Catholicism, turning agnostic due to the nonsensical cermonials, then Atheist due to the clever writings of Dawkins, I've now come full circle thanks to the likes of the Prof and understand the level of millenia old deception that we were born into. I shall be visiting my local Adventist church.

That literally my story, I walked away from God because my Catholic Church was so fake. I walked away thinking “surely these people don’t know God & everything is so fake, God wasn’t real”. The correct conclusion is that these people do not represent God AT ALL. I started a believer with a family fairly frequenting a church, I didn’t even understand the different sects and what it entailed. Last 15 years in a Catholic Church, alter boy 8 years & answering mass on the mic for 5 years. Whatever was there, didn’t feel like it represented God at all, so I gave up & left to search the world for the truth. I don’t know if I was anything specifically but somewhere still believing in a God, an atheist & New Age “love & light” hippy at Burning Man. I was searching for answers in all the wrong places to find God. Instead of reading the Bible thoroughly, like you I turned to Dawkins and Sam Harris to learn why believing in a higher power was stupid. I wasn’t completely sold and remained in the middle of everything. Eventually God saw that I was searching for him and was lost, he humbled me severely, I mean 2 years depression not leaving the house severely. While before I used to throw underground parties in Manhattan, showing up to parties where dozens of people hugged me to say hi. I buckled down and switched from partying to learning what is really going on in the world. Learning all the evil lead me back to God and I realized just how stupid I was. I looked everywhere but never studied scriptures, I turned to pseudo intellectual buffoons like Sam Harrison to be deceived. I’ve been studying the Bible for the last 7 years and it is literally all I do now, I eat & breath Yah and nothing else matters anymore. I suffer persecution and am alone most of the time but I’ve never been happier because I finally know my place and where I am. Like you, I came full circle and boy what a nightmare it was without knowing Him. Only true wisdom can be found in His word and through His Holy Spirit. I can’t stop learning & have reached so high I can do almost anything with my owns hands and mind. It’s night a day the difference between a college degree & what you can teach yourself when guided by Him. I can’t wait to meet Yahshua & be his wingman, the greatest & coolest friend anyone can dream of. Shalom

There is no depth or ferver or selfless love in the religion of Roman Catholicism, Atheism, Gnosticism, etc. I have only ever found perfect peace and comfort in the Word of God that is taught through the Seventh-day Adventist message.

Thank you for this lecture hall of God, I can’t get enough in this faithless world. People think they see but they do not see, instead they go on with their faulty beliefs. Most of my family thinks that the Bible is antiquated and that religion is senseless because it causes too much strife, they are very complacent with their conclusions. The rest of them have weaponized Gods word and made him exclusive to their beliefs. Talk about a rock and a hard spot!!

Or any other false and man made religions. The Bible has everying we need, and gives answers that lift and satisfy the hearts and souls of men. I am struggling in my faith. I grew up, Catholic, and then, after graduating high school, I became Nathan’s for a number of years. And then I became a born-again evangelical. I attended an evangelical church for a number of years. About five years ago, I discovered the SDA church. And I thoroughly studied out each other doctrines not for a few months, but for a few years. I studied all these doctrines for a few years before I made a decision to go to an SDA church. And I’ve been attending an SDA church now on and off for about two years. But I am struggling in my faith. I don’t really believe the Ellen White was a prophet. And that’s is what is kind of keeping me from continuing to attend. I cannot fully say that she was a prophet, because I have not personally read all of her writings. However, the few books that I have read, I found no falsehood in them. And I think they are fantastic books. But the same time, I have not read all of her writings to fully conclude that she was , a prophet. Or prophetess. I understand, and I have read that there are certain tests, biblical test at a profit must pass. However, I wasn’t present during these visions. So for someone to say that these things happened to her it’s just kind of hearsay to me. Please don’t think I’m attacking Ellen White. Because I am not. The books I’ve read, I enjoyed, and I found no falsehood in them. But I’m just struggling in my faith right now because I fully don’t believe that she was a prophet because I have not read all of the writings to determine this. I would like to read all of them.

The ongoing conundrum between our understanding of grace ,faith ,law and works has been a source of confusion, strife ,misunderstanding from the beginning of time and throughout church history when it is not understood arightly. Each contingent on both sides of the controversy have marvelous ,wonderful scriptural basis for their arguments. The only way I can out step of the firm beliefs held on each side is to step back and look at a panoramic view of God's work, person and words from Genesis to Revelation. Every word which God has spoken was spoken for a reason and is pure truth....He never takes back his word but it accomplishes that for which it was sent.... He is the Father of lights and the giver of every good and perfect gift and there is no shadow of turning in him..... I am able to see a cohesion in his words throughout the old and new testament in which every truth has layers of wisdom and understanding. As for me it's taken most of my life to see many of the treasures which are in His word and cherish them... His perfect gifts.❤

The MYSTERY OF GOD is simply the PLAN of SALVATION --- embedded in the gospel. Remember this "mystery of God" has to be FINISHED

RCC teaches a works based salvation - but works based on Papal traditions that have nothing to do with Holy Scriptures. Example: as a child I confessed to a priest that I had been disobedient. The only way he could forgive me was to tell me to pray my Rosary 100 times that week. None of that is in the Bible. That is what a works based religion looks like. Following the 10 commandments is Love-ism not Legalism.

Where exactly did Adam inquire of God about not having a help meet for him not in the scriptures

God has provided plenty of evidence for rational beings to conclude God is who He claims to be: our Creator, Lawgiver, Savior, High Priest, Mediator, Judge, Resurrection, etc.

1Tim2:14;how does this relate to jn15:16;can we say the God respected Adam's choice to die with Eve?hence the redemption plan shows God as chosing mankind in Christ before the foundation of the World?as eph 1:3,4; 2Tim1:9,10 tells us?

A better title would be: "He IS, therefore, I think." This presupposes God. The way it currently stands, it could imply that God is a figment of human imagination; "I" presupposes God. Just putting it out there.

My faith is based on past performances. My daddy has always kept his promises. If he promised to pick me up at an appointed time he did. If he promised a present ,he delivered. Outside his power to overcome an obstacle,he performed,. Jesus ,YHVH,HolySpirit kept his promises of the prophets,always. True Science is also accepted by faith in past performances. Empirical Evidence is tested again and again by scientists in peer reviews. Failing peer review theory is abandoned. Unlike my earthly daddy,my heavenly daddy is not subject to obstacles.
