I know people who knew him. They told me that one of his major fears was the general public learning that he was an Irish Catholic. Mr. Brennan was in the movies during a time when in mattered if you were Catholic or Protestant. The studios, who ran everything with an iron fist, kept that part of his life from reaching the general public. Mr. Brennan was making the movie companies so much money. So you did another hit piece on Walter Brennan? Here's one from four weeks ago -- kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6KZxteAp9yrfLQ.html Once again, the "morality" of 2024 is applied to 1950s and 1960s. I don't think his actions were racist, but rather anti-communistic. You are talking a veteran who fought in the War to End All Wars. He hated communism and the threat it held for the US. 14:40 - In the '50s and '60s, the civil rights movement was viewed many as a communist threat to divide America, and from some of the things that happened, it appeared to be accurate. As such, his dislike for people like Martin Luther King was based on their possible ties to the Soviet Union and undermining America than the color of his skin. But in typical 2024 mentality, if you criticism a person, and their skin color is different than yours, then it MUST be racism. You couldn't just dislike that person for any other reason. 16:13 - The John Birch Society was an anti-Communist society, not a racist group. This article is pushing a false narrative. 18:49 - He disliked RFK because he believed him to be a communist. RFK did seem to hold several socialist ideas. 19:37 - Clearly, this video hates freedom of people to have their own beliefs. 20:09 - Many thought the Beatles were horrible and undermining of society. 20:50 - Sounds like today on any social media platform. And it sounds as the video condemns Brennan having an opinion and acting on it, but it is fine for Hollywood, and this video, to have one equally as radical.
