Only hand tools woodworking. Walnut bookshelf, wenge and linden drawers, tung oil finish as always. I'm not good at woodcarving, but sometimes I want to do something simple. I hope it turned out well.

    Nice work...I'm also partial to interesting boards with 'defects' like your top board there. Those would be culled in any mass produced shop. You may know this but that carving is called a volute in the parlance.

    Oh, I don’t have a proper workbench yet :) I made this one about 10 years ago and it wasn’t very successful. I dream of making a new one in the future and will definitely show you the manufacturing process this time.

    There you can see a 45 degree strip glued inside - this is a French fastening system; you can also screw a 45 degree strip onto the wall and just hang it
