From what I’ve learned, Samaritans we’re typically looked down upon by Jews. In addition, this woman had had 5 husbands and was now living with another man. She was most likely trying to avoid running into those judgemental women at the well in the morning, who would shame her. The fact that Jesus even spoke to her, was amazing. His presence there at that moment was not a coincidence. He knew all of her sins and yet forgave her and told her to go tell others. She came to know the one true God that day. Thank you for taking time to share the word of God with others.
