Walmart Driver / A Day in the Walmart Private Fleet

I bring you on a ride-along on an average day for a Private Fleet driver, as well as explain the advantage of an accurate ETD (Estimated Time of Departure)
If my videos help you, please consider using me as a referral on your Walmart driver application. Your application will be given higher priority than those without a referral, and I'll receive a bonus as well. Thanks!

that place is a joke to picky on dumb stuff, don't go down a hill past 70 mph you'll get a write-up, make sure you do your “360” in the fuel bay lol. About 5 months ago they lost literally 25 people in a month that's why they hire a lot in Spring Valley I think they are up to 250 drivers but god luck not worth it, Nobody stays.

@@wanghaf_Gl0yper if I couldn't how would I of know then….. Its overhyped and its a glorified Schneider company my guy, you have to work your but off and maximum your 14 to reach that 6 figures or work night or even recruit people for the bonus. The only thing I'll give walmart is the PTO system that's okay but everything is trash, to the insurance and lets be real $42 a night to be away from your family to sleep in a truck BIG F NO minimum $150 a night for layover but hey Walmart guys settle. Beside they took away all the good stuff like profit sharing, fuel bonus when they actually hired guys that could drive a stick or even down to getting you a blue truck that nobody could use but hey will slap a spark on the side of a truck “good job for making us more money.” so don't come at me with that “nonsense of I couldn't get hired.” OVERRATED PERIOD!!!

I worked for Walmart dc 6071 for around 5 years as a selector. Wanted to drive trucks so I quit to get my Cdl and 4 years later they are hiring my old co workers and paying for their Cdl while I’m sitting outside trying to drive for Walmart with plenty of experience and all they tell me is that they’re not hiring at the moment lol

The biggest tip would be to be extra careful now to keep that license and safety record clean. You're almost there. Next I would say to pay special attention to every question on the application, and answer it carefully and honestly. They screen applicants very closely. Check out my video explaining the application/onboarding/orientation process. kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6ChxK-slangn8o.htmlsi=Or-Zs-VZD-BoGkHS And don't forget to put me down as a referral on your application. That'll place your application above others that are without referrals, and I'll get a bonus too when you're hired. Win/win. Good luck!

It was only a few short years ago I was in your shoes. I've been working for Magnum LTD out of Fargo, ND since 2020. Dispatch, driver managers, shop people, etc are all easy to work with. I've been local in Chicago since 2022 which was my plan from the beginning. We have a terminal in Elk Grove, IL with parking. The trucks and trailers are well maintained. The trucks breakdown, it's just a fact of life. They will get you a tow or you hopefully can get to a shop. I've done it both ways, as others I know here. The pay is good, I don't know what mileage pay is now as I'm hourly, local. Check them out, maybe they will be a good fit for you, I do know they are hiring. I'm not a recruiter, just thought I'd pass along what I know. Anthony Waves is a Magnum driver currently doing videos, seems like a good guy, but I've yet to meet him at our yard. Best of luck.

I would suggest going with any of the larger mega-carriers to get good solid experience while under the security of a solid time-tested company. They have the freight, assets, and resources to allow you to reach your full potential. Once you gain the valuable experience, you can write your own ticket anywhere.
