My wife and I have some nice bikes in our stable and we picked up a couple of these for camp bikes.... I absolutely love them and will upgrade as things need to be replaced. Swapped saddle, post and resin brake pads so far, only the pads were necessary in my opinion. Great bikes.

Back in the 1900s we took "English Racers " off road, aka paths, with the bars flipped up 180 deg to wheelie ezpz and jump ... I regret I have only one like to give ... 😏 A suspension seatpost and stem would be an informative build video ... 👍

You won’t regret getting it! I started watching you with the Aggressor Pro videos, I built up my own, but discovered that mountain biking wasn’t for me. I ended up getting a road bike and I absolutely love it. I can see you hitting some nice trails on a gravel bike and having a blast!

Wife bought this bike for my B-day last month for my upgrade mod fetish. Great as is for a starter in "gravel". It was shipped with damage to fork but it is steel and I was able to cold set it right. It is now a 1x10 Tiagra adventure with a few racks.

Been lurking and watching your videos for years. Just spent the last week going back through and rewatching all the Aggressor Pro videos. Got a basket case one from my friend who was just using it as a parts bike since it was an extra. It looked like he just had it in his yard for the last couple years. Well it's all fixed up and I dropped a 1x on it. My granddaughter is gonna love it! That gravel bike, definitely on my radar. I reached out to customer service and they told me they have size large on order. I'm 6'3" so the medium just isn't gonna cut it. But hey, keep up the great content! I'll keep watching and lurking in the background.

Would love to see you review gravel. It's a heck of a bike for the price. And I agree with Tick, you can do trails with it. I slap on some 27.5" x 1.9" knobby gravel tires on my gravel bike and explore. Hit the Triple C but not Hayes Creek.

I don't think it matters a lot what you're 'well versed' in, as long as you can ride it and tell us about it people will watch.

The bike at 3:04 is the Kent Genesis Whirlwind, 26”. A bike Walmart used to sell. My fiancé bought me one for $100 a few years back. I use it for spare bolts ect when in a pinch

I've been watching yall's Videos since I bought my 2023 Trek FX2 back in April of 2024 (a hybrid bike). I upgraded several things and I learned so much from you all, even brought mountain bike hydraulic brakes not knowing I needed Flat Mount brakes, so I would love to see the upgrade to this bike although I have flat bars, but the concept is still the same. I'm almost caught up with all of your videos as they are super entertaining, also very informative. Do this bike some justice as I'd love to see that cocoon turn into a butterfly 😊

No sir lol, I did let it grow a little longer then usual and I loved it. But I looked like a mountain man lol, so working both children and dealing with parents wasn't really a good look lol.

That bike makes a lot of sense for rainy days here in Miami. They close the trails when it rains until they dry but with a bike like that one , you just can ride { not on the trails ) and it is fairly priced.

I'm 6 foot 1. Bought the medium Tuesday got it in the box. Gonna assemble it soon. Gonna change pedals and seat first. Tried the small but the medium felt better.

That G1 Explorer is perfect for gravel rail trails. It’s designed for speed and distance. If you get it, try it on a rail trail. I would leave it stock and maybe replace the cheap steel seat tube.

I mostly use MTB/flatbar for my weekend ride. I only now starting to learn use gravel/dropbar handle bike. it nice to see a honest KZreadr that I follow also try their learning curve on gravel/ dropbar on a budget bike and learn along side them (visually any way😂). I easily loss interested watching GCN about it bec they are pro and they don't use Budget bike. And the video is mostly marketing commercial for the latest and newest from their sponsors,😑

We also need the new axum!

Hyper CarbonX 29er would be a better gravel bike...had to say it, it's been awhile but you screwed the pooch by not picking that up. Would have provided extra content for your channel 😝 That chair looks legit, I could see Wolfman rocking into the wee hours of the morning slamming some twisted teas and puffing away on his cigars. The OZT G.1 looks like a nice introduction to gravel biking. You should go get it.

You don’t need a gyro to do a bar spin , just a long brake cable or hose wrapped around under your stem

Local Walmart had both a medium and small G.1, the medium sold (not restocked yet), they still have the small. Hope your bike is still there. They also have a large OT Ridge and couple of OT Vibes, the Ridge sold but was stocked again. There are a couple of Schwinn AL Comps, which still haven't sold. Lastly, they finally had a new model Axum Comp (the black one), it sold quickly, has not been restocked, the frame on that bike looked huge and beefy along with its big tires, a tank, very interesting ... :)

I’ve honestly been figuring you all would be picking up a gravel bike sooner or later, I was thinking it might be a Mongoose, but the Ozark Trail makes sense for the price. I hope this one hits 300 likes! Haha

When's the upgrades for the able core mtb coming?

My store has both the small and medium frame on the other side of the state. They are tempting but I’m not a fan of the brake/shifters.

The Explorer G1 is an absolutely awesome bike for the price. It isn't the best choice for upgrades though. With a freewheel upgrading the drivetrain (beyond a Shimano 34t MegaRange) means swapping the wheel(s), which doubles the price the price of the bike. Wolf, where were you in the 80s? I was riding a drop bar road bike EVERYWHERE, including mountains without bike trails.

300 will be up within the hour including mine. That bike will go anywhere you wanna take it. Just have to go slower on some trails. Fit some wider tires and more flared bars. Instant monster cross bike.

Dude get the bike. I got the Bohe which is very very similarly spec'd. It is just super fun to ride. I'm not a mountain biker, but it does great on rail trails. I think the Ozark would do better. The Bohe came stock with very street tires. The Ozark looks more gravel. I am actually thinking about switching as the small frame on the Ozark would fit me better. Plus I love all the mounting options. That's my ding for the Bohe. It needed more bottle cage options.

Btw noticed the slot# is 420 and the color of the bike is a canibis hue??? (Everything's been done) style. Really I like the bike. Do all the stuff to it including riding it on easy to intermediate trails.

I want to see you learn about bar tape…. Always put me off road/gravel bikes Be interesting to see you modify it. Most vids I’ve seen about gravel bikes are done by Roadies, would be good to see one from an MTB perspective!!!

I was really impressed when I saw that bike in boxes in the back, I work for Walmart. I do assembly part time. the way they routed the cables and it's bugging the piss out of me. I dislike the contract assemblers walmart uses. as for the commuter bike you showed when it first came out it had a flip flop hub on the rear. so it could freewheel or be fixed gear.

I can vouch should I bike being nice actually really nice I have high-end bikes three of them and they didn't shift as good as this one straight out of the box. It's quick it's actually really nice looking all around for $248 especially these are usually sold out everywhere

My plans are: Suspension Stem Gear Range Carbon Fork Hydro Brakes Seat/Post Tires/Convert to Tubeless if able

I wonder if they will make a large? The Medium is too small for me.

A couple months ans a few hundred miles in, it's the best $248 I've ever spent on a bike 😊👍

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS you better grab it fast, brother, I hear a lot of others on Farcebook complaining they're practically unicorn tears to find 😆 My medium has been damn good for what it is so far, it even came well assembled and well greased where needed, I've only changed contact points so far, and I've ridden gravel, a little pavement, and nearly every xc trail that I typically ride on my mtn bikes with it (a little above a green trail, but obviously nothing black diamond or too rough on it). Looking forward to watching yours 😁👍

Stick with Mountain Bikes.....to me it's what sets this channel apart from the others...gravel is cool in all but we want that Wolfman Dyno action, real time suspension reviews, Grass root reviews on the components that most people buy and use.
