I was just telling my friends this about wallows, especially this song though. I feel like I’m in the early/mid 2000s. I always hung around my aunt and her friends when she was in HS and I wanted to be just like them when I was in elementary. This song reminds me of her so much, and sitting in my aunts huge wicker cushion chair under her lights hung in her room. Driving around with my her and my mom as I stare out the window when I was a child as well. Beneath the warm nostalgia, this song also reminds me of my dad, who was a huge part of my inner conflict as a child. Of course you think your relationship with your father/parent will last your lifetime as a child, and when it doesn’t, well it leaves everything within you “uncomfortable”.

This song is seriously underrated, it deserves so much more and music video to pop it off. I feel like if they were to make a music video for this song, it’d be one of the deepest and “darkest” music videos ever from them. This makes me feel like i’m getting back from a road trip in night with my friends, just looking at the window and thinking about the moments I had with them.

All of these years being a Wallows fan, and this one is still my favorite. I wish they would've performed it at my show. So good and needs to be heard more often.
