All the walls like this would be too over bearing I think, a nice idea for a feature wall, or even parts of the walls, like behind a floor lamp or behind the telly? The tv option looks good when it’s kind of half way or not completely symmetric. Definitely needs to reach the ceiling to look 👌🏼 though. Most homes in the uk are built to about 8’ or 2.4 metre in new money which is roughly the size of the ready made slat panels you see everywhere.

Hi, Yes it is very easy to install. Its a felt and MDF slats coated in veneer or melamine.

The panel is way shorter than the wall.
Some cheap latticing like that you could have gotten away with command strips and not even having to repaint the drywall when you move out

If your wall is taller when the panel 2.4m, you might need to consider to have another one cut to size you need and attached them together. This video is just to show how to fit in general. Thank you.
