I was planning to go with paradigm prestige for my setup before but now ended up ordering megophonix for the fronts, symmetrix for the surrounds and atmospherix for the atmos. Since my room is 4.8*5.0, I was advised to go with only 2 atmos. Can’t wait for my house to complete with this full setup :).. There's likely more than one factor for this - and without knowing more it would be hard to say. What processor/receiver are you using? How much acoustic treatment have you used. How are the speakers installed? Did you calibrate the system after installation? I would start with those things and see how you go with trying to discover the issues - it would be very hard for me to give you an answer as to why as Im not there to see it.

    *Outstanding video* !! I'm here in the States, but am a huge fan of KRIX. I'm super happy to see a video of the MX-10's. My previous concern with the MX series of speakers was that they seemed to not be able to angle the left & right speakers towards the primary listening position. Now seeing your video I find that's not the case (at least for the 10 series anyway). Can't wait for your video once you get everything going. Your HT is looking fantastic - I know you're excited!! And that star ceiling is the 💥boom 💥! You should reach out to the great folks over at Cogworks (cogworks.io/) and ask them if they'd _loan_ you an ACURUS MUSE & M8 amps to review. You'll be blown away by them!! They'll take your HT to reference level at a price virtually unheard of in hi-end audio!! Keep after it, Tony!

I have a 7.2.4 system and want to change my Rotel amp (used for 4 x atmos speakers) as it doesn't use xlr connections. Could I even nudge out my Emotiva XPA5 from it main duties and replace with 2 x PX3's??

  • @BuildMontage

    @BuildMontage

    The PX3 is the recommended amp to power the MX-10 subwoofers specifically. To connect them i used an xlr to rca concert or plug which goes into my Denon x8500h. The Denon is currently powerful enough to run the 13 speakers but I do plan on going separates as budget allows.
