Firstly I would recommend to use damp proofing on your wall and then instead of placing the trims directly on the wall just place PLY (moisture resistant or moisture proof) and place trims over that and do Duco over

Hey! This is just a compilation of the videos from the site and a few images I have used Adobe you can go for any software including canva, inshot it will work :)
