What plans you have for your exterior wall assembly? I like the 2x6 framing and see you've got the sill plate over hanging the inside of the foundation. Looks like a fair amount of room on the outside foundation wall for insulated sheathing or brick.

Looks like you are very talented, but if you live in severe weather areas, a in ground basement would be better, could have brought side walls up a bit higher, good thing 2X6 studs

I am planning to build a house in the SF Bay Area, but permit fees seems too high. Can I ask where did you build your house, how much was permit fees and did you have to pay school fee?

Did he only toe nail those side walls? (Knee walls)
