Do not apologize Joe, it doesn't sound like a worn disc to me, otherwise sounds great to me! What can I say, beautiful in all counts, a funny vocal. Even a trumpet solo, clarinet trios. Well orchestrated!

I can hear why it is a well worn copy, great piece. You can tell its electrically recorded.

From what I've read this was a studio band assembled by Mel Morris who had a connection with Paul Whiteman. Irving Peskin was a trumpet player in the band and he is mentioned on a number sites on the web. WFMU's Thomas Edison's Attic has a great interview with Mr. Peskin. A great band for sure!
