Varaždin is a town in northern Croatia located on river Drava. It is best known for its well preserved baroque center and medieval castle called The Old Town (Stari Grad) - with which we'll end our walk. Varaždin is also noted for being one of the most livable cities in Croatia - rather small but full of activities and amenities. A stress-free easy-living town, perfect for cycling and walking.
