My favorite place. I have taken 370 photos here since starting a photo project in October of 2021.

Sounds like an interesting project! Any resemblance to that 1990’s movie Smoke?

Great movie. On a whim I decided to ride through the cemetery one day. Normally I would just pass by it. And as I always have two Canon cameras with me I took a few photos. Then on my way home I stopped there again. And since that day, that is my normal routine. Two visits. And a few photos. If you head over to Flickr, just search for Steffe, which is my user name. The album is called, and you probably guessed it, Skogskyrkogården.

@@SteffeHello. Sorry to bother you. But on your visits to the cemetery, did you get to see the tomb where Avicii is buried? I'm a fan of his and I saw that he was buried there in Skogskyrkogården, but I never saw anything about his grave.
I have relatives buried there. Brings back memories. Thanks for sharing.

I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful Sweden is. To be completely honest, it has been on my bucket list for a long time, but somehow I have been putting it aside. However, I am a big fan of this, keep creating videos like this because it is truly relaxing to watch a walking tour through Sweden spots. Thank you again and I wish you all the best :)

@@StockholmWalks Hej! Thanks so much for your kind reminder and for taking the time to reply. I look forward to visiting all the beautiful areas, too.
It's a really beautiful place, that's for sure. I saw that you mentioned the tv series "Six Feet Under" The end scene was one of the saddest I've ever seen in a tv series. 😭 Thank you for the pretty summer walk. 💙

@@StockholmWalks it's a good series! You should!
11:22 the doors are locked from the outside. You have to enter through the wooden door to the left! They are often closed due to funeral ceremonys but sometimes You can get in. So the big doors get to be opened for the grieving relatives when the ceremony is over.

Things I didn’t notice about my hometown until I got old enough I think…
Is this a repost or have I seen someone else do a cemetery walk before here on KZread? Anyway, an incredible cemetery. I have been to Stockholm so many times but never visited it. It's a shame. A good walking video as usual.

Yes, the first part of the walk is the end of a previously published walk
Eventually we all end up six feet under, so let's enjoy life as much as we can while still on the "upper" side.

You walked past Asplund's grave at 6:15, on the wall to the right.

I know! Unfortunately I didn’t know when I wrote the captions!
I believe the family wanted it to be private. So I have not seen the grave. There is a memorial place though, at Humlegården.

No, sorry, I thought I was answering a question about Avicii. I know where Asplund is buried
I got it! Apparently, there are two Swedens on the planet: in the northern and southern hemispheres. In the north it is snowy and cold. The southern hemisphere is warm and green. It is very expensive to constantly fly to these countries for video filming 🌏✈️😊
