Today we will visit the hermitage of the Celle, near Cortona, founded in 1211 by St. Francis as a place of prayer where he could retreat. Inside a forest of beautiful holm oaks we will reach
to the gate of the monastery and crossing the stream with one of the three bridges we arrive at the actual monastery!
The monastery is located here: maps.app.goo.gl/xwusvBjmUBRVe... (link to google maps) and is 5 km from the town of Cortona, easily reached by a dirt road (narrow, actually) by car or on foot
