That's a beautiful Toronto Chinatown Archway "中華門" with the lion statues! 😍 Nice to see all the Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants along with other businesses in East Chinatown, but it's a lot less activities here. Thank you for sharing, AK! 🤗

Chinatown East is actually the original Chinatown in Toronto. What is now known as Chinatown ( Dundas/ Spadina) or as you describe the Main Chinatown was previously home to other immigrant communities that moved to other areas of the city . So the new Chinatown in the area of Spadina/ Dundas became the main and larger Chinatown.
This is definitely the place to go for food and beauty . I t would make for a great book to experience the flavors of there cuisine very kool.
You were there on a Saturday. Back in the 90s, it would be much much busier than it is now. How things have changed. 😔

It's too bad this Chinatown does not do as well as the other ones there are many good restaurants here. The building on the right side of the street was my school 17:43 in the early 1970's. Thank you ActionKid, this was great. 👍👍
