I travel south from Broadway in Astoria on Crescent Street, over the Ed Koch Queensboro (59th Street) Bridge, south on 2nd Avenue, west on Stuyvesant Street, south on Lafayette Street, south on Centre Street, and then south on Nassau Street ending at the New York Stock Exchange at Wall Street.

This video was totally awesome! Thank you so much for making these videos. I am looking forward to watching more of them.
I like your video. Google should hire you to walk all streets of NYC (all Boroughs)...especially during the snow storms.

Damn I love this NYC feel...dirt, rust, for some it's ugly and bad but for me this is what makes NY itself
Wow, so you work on Wall Street? I bet that's an experience! Awesome video as always! :)
Wow it's a long walk in a city, but it's a lovely day and I'm sure it's an unique experience, thanks for the upload.
Congratulations. Excelent videos. Thanks for sharing them. God bless you,
Started watching your channel some months ago and I always come back to it ... I love NYC. It is such a unique city and I love learning more about it. I am going to be living there with my fiance this year. I love watching your videos thoroughly. Keep it up 👍
*Once arrived at work* Manager: Something wrong with the computers today, take the day off. *sh*, gotta walk back now*
That's 7.5 miles in 2 hours and 11 mins. Great!
I have been finding lots of your videos and enjoying them all, but on this one I was so tired by the time you got to work, just glad I watched it on a weekend day. lol.

A 7 and a half miles walk and then you work? WOW!
after watching a few narrated videos, these are so different. thanks for sharing.
thanks for the video very nice congratulatios good job
Action Kid , thank you for your effort to show us a great and long walk ! Youre crazy LOL !
The bridge walk was beautiful and fascinating!
Simply love those clips. Going to NY this Fall and you helped me big time to more less know some parts. What would be great, and this is just an idea, if you could stick on the corner some interactive map while you walk, so viewers will know where exactly you are. Keep it up.
That is hell of a walk. Never-the-less, it is fun, cause it is NYC! :)

Thank you for this..As someone who rides the NYC subway day in and out for work, I’m often left drained at the end of the day. The constant crowded trains with people snapping at each-other...Just today when at Times Square, the MTA workers were blowing their whistle’s right by people’s ears...Shouting in order to move along the crowds. This is giving me the courage to brave the elements but at least protect my well being.
Badass episode, for show!
Love your videos of new York I am a native of new York the city seems like fun & beautiful l wish I was a true new yorker but I was raised down south I really missed out ! ☺
Rode my bike from Astoria to 5th and 56th and back for days during the transit strike Was tired after that, never mind walking!! Lol!
wow extraordinary walk 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💝
feels like I'm in NY already. THX! NYC is like a sort of motivation for me to do work or study. This video is very nice cause I can see every corner of the street. It gives different level from what 'Google road map' has provided. really AWESOME. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching a part of NYC 😎
OK second video I watch, I moved to Astoria after 5 years in NY to 21 Ave and 29 St, then I further in down Ditmars Blvd and 48th Street, I loved Astoria, it had all kinds of restaurants and closed to the city, although is a pretty far walk to Wall Street!!! I worked at One Bankers Trust Plaza, my first job, I think that building is no longer there after 9/11 it was damaged and I moved away in 2003. I feel as if I know every place you pass by and every step you are taking on these walks! How awesome is that!

I love this 😎
Yoooooo you crazy!!!!! How do you function at work after all that walking? 😕
More power to you.
Such pretty music....
that beats my walk to school about 4 times
A very good video! Although, the lens is slightly too wide so there's a bit of a bowl-ish feeling. 😊
I might start walking to work too to be more independent from asking parents for a ride. Maps says it’ll be a 2 hour 26 min walk to get to work, but I’m young I can do it.
Haha awesome I think i spotted nyc cycling vlogger and bikingmessenger kelsey leigh and her friend (with the curls) after 24:28 on their fixedgears (friends of ridingwithjahv)

Gotta ask. Do the sewer covers and street grates say East Jordan Iron Works?
Wow! How many times did you change the battery? How about the sdcard? I just bought my go pro mainly use for my safety I ride my bicycle everyday so you never know. Maybe later I'll upload some videos too, I just need to buy a computer, what program do you use to edit your videos?
@ActionKid
6 жыл бұрын
Actually, I only changed the battery once and my 128GB SD card can record over 4 hours of footage so it wasn’t an issue for me. In fact, my first battery recorded for 1 hr and 40 minutes when it’s rated to last for 1 hr and 30 minutes. It was a super battery!
We can see your image in the shadow we should appreciate your dedication to show New York city to viewers.

A couple years ago I decided to walk from Ridgewood, Queens all the way to my apartment in Harlem... I've lost my wallet the night before so I did not have my MetroCard/money so I decided that I would just walk, how bad it could be?... Bad Idea!!! by the time I was around central park, I had to take breaks every 5 blocks...

Is it the norm for people to walk for 2 to 2 1/2 hours daily from home to work? I’m asking because I’m thinking about relocating to New York and I think its an efficient way to save money from having car payments and paying for metro fare. Also, I bet it’s very beneficial for health purposes.
@ActionKid
4 жыл бұрын
It’s not the norm at all! Most people take the subway and public transportation to work.
If you like to people watch this is the best place for it😊
i get drive to work and back home on evenings
Would it be wierd if i jogged alot of my commute when i move to nyc, i’d like to jog mostly, and only walk to take breaks. I only ask cuz from what ive seen people usually walk or bike or take the train and only run for exersize and i just dont wanna look like a wierdo jogging around most of the time while everyone else is casually walking
@ActionKid

They are such a practical machine, the folding takes seconds so easy to take on public transport busses, trains. Not cheap but beautifully engineered and so distinctive looking. The first time I ever saw one I was outside the Houses of Parliament in Westminster and I saw a man walk out carrying a fully folded Brompton and in seconds he had unfolded and sped off into traffic. It is hard not to fall in love with a machine like this. Check this video for how the folding works, and how quick it is. Who will win the race? kzread.info/dash/bejne/hp6slruLpN3dgaQ.html

Btw I'll be coming to new york for 3 weeks this summer. I am really looking foreward to it and I can't wait to meet some friends of mine. Also I would love to explore some good music and I'll be doing a piano masterclass too. :) Hope you don't mind me asking but are there places where people hook up like afterwork, or where people would go if they want some jazz or rock music or just have a beer and meet people? What else to see outside of Manhattan? (I'll be living in West Harlem close to the hudson river). My workshop will be downtown. I read that you need to walk very fast and don't look anybody in the eye. Is that true? (I am walking really really fast by nature anyways) :D I love your video
@MrEarthboundKing
6 жыл бұрын
Haha, as long as you're not walking super slowly and blocking people you'll be fine. You should of course avoid staring at people, but that's common knowledge. My best advice for walking on the street is, if someone is panhandling, trying to sell you something, offer you something, look straight ahead and just walk around them. Its never worth your time
@andreashoppe1969
6 жыл бұрын
Ah yeah, I know those panhandlers they're all over in Vienna and I always pretent to get a phone call when spotting one :D
@andreashoppe1969
6 жыл бұрын
But as you said it seems like common knowledge. Vienna is way way smaller than new york but I think the same rules apply to Vienna, or any other 'bigger' city. As people are so busy with their lives… :D
