    Thank you cery much for this tour. I've seen Cyber City and the Metro construction (as well as the opening) during my last visit before pandemic. I was actually really impressed about Mauritius. The government seems to make a good job. They invest their income from high priced tourism very well into infrastructure, developing a good industry and into state service as like free medical services and education. Well done Mauritius.

    Talking about being patient when driving. In some parts of England people are extremely patient when driving and they will not use their horn 📯 unlike London.

    I love Mauritius. I lived there for the first 25 years and now in my sixties in Canada. I wish I could go back. I remember the feeling of waking up early before in the morning, just the fragrance of the fresh air perfumed from the abundance of flowers . I can imagine the fun of buying a chilli bite or roti for so cheap can be ecstatic. Enjoy the peace of a small Island life.

    Thanks, good idea. Since you have my husband’s Tante Sylvie as a FB friend, maybe the family in Ballito should be able to help.I’m wondering if this So Cal girl can adjust to life on a small island, think I’m willing to give it a try when my husband retires next year. Love that you play rock! Pierre listens to slow ballads, I was raised on rock & roll, still a bit of a head banger 🤪

    Hey Marc, watching your videos and wondering if you might be a cousin. I’m Pierre Le Breton, I’m from Durban, but living in California for over 30 years. I’m first cousin to Jean Pierre Maurel & Francois Maurel. Their mom was my mom’s sister and my Godmother. Would like to hear from you. Love the videos. Thanks Pierre

    how is the internet speed in mauritus like? and is it expensive. not just for you , but for the locals?

  • @MyKiffLife

    @MyKiffLife

    3 жыл бұрын

    The internet speed is very good and chep. Theres not diferentiation on pricing structures for locals vs foreigners. Mbile data is also cheap. Today we pay Rs315 (ZAR 120) for 75 gigs of mobile data at 4G speed, thereafter its throttled, but not enough so you can't watch Netflix.

    this all depends on what industry you're in. from a logical stand point, it will always be harder because we are a small island. there will always be more jobs where there are more people and a solid economy.
