Hey there,
Welcome to our relaxed Valletta Malta Walking Tour!
We invite you to enjoy a stroll with us through the historic heart of the "City of Knights".

So, what is Valletta like?
Witness the breathtaking views of the Valletta Grand Harbour and experience the thrill of the Valletta cannon firing time at the Saluting Battery.

We'll also visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where you can soak in panoramic vistas of the city and its stunning harbour.
Immerse yourself in the city's heritage as we briefly stop outside of St. John's Co-Cathedral, home to Caravaggio's masterpiece, "The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist".
Our Valletta walking tour will also provide you with some great ideas of things to see and do in Valletta Malta if you’re wanting to explore the city outside of the main tourist areas.

We always enjoy walking the streets of Valletta, even back when we were living in Malta. (And yes, I did get quite a bit of sun on a very hot day when we recorded this one!)

When was this video shot? It seems a bit crowded. Do you have to buy bus tickets in advance or just pay hen you hop on? Cost?

We filmed this video in mid-October. For us it was very comfortable walking around all parts of the city as we were already pretty familiar with the area. Valletta can get very busy when a cruise is docked in as was the case when we were there on this particular visit. As for the bus tickets, you can buy them in advance online or pay on the bus using euros directly with the driver. You can find all about bus ticket prices by doing a search for "Tallinja Bus Ticket". Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

One thing we liked to do on a Sunday when we were staying in Malta was to walk from St George's Bay to Sliema along the coastline streets passing by Spinola Bay and St Julian's Bay along the way. It's a really nice relaxing walk and you'll discover little restaurants, bars ad cafes along the way too, especially once you get to Balluta Bay. As for specific places to eat, we can't recall any specific places but can say we did make pit stops for drinks and snacks at different places each time to mix things up.

It’s a shame that the Roman Catholic Church charges to go into the Cathedral.
