Always a pleasure walking the metro

My favorite mall is the power plant mall when it comes to Christmas display. It's a high end mall like podium and ShangriLa. SM malls are mostly for the masses where everything is there and they got amazing Christmas display too. Everybody grew up with SM.

Taguig and Makati aren't just sharing borders, they've been fighting for ages over ownership of several barangays (villages). The Supreme Court has just ruled with finality this year that those villages, which include Fort Bonifacio where BGC is located, are part of Taguig.

The EMBOs loyalty are with Makati. Outside of BGC and other townships in Taguig, the city and its barangays are pretty rough, ngl.

@@piacash5216 Each of the 16 cities within the Metro have their own Administration (Mayors, Congress Reps, and LGUs). Every business, developments, and establishment are basically cash cows of their respective city. Now, Imagine the money involved. 😅

@@MattReardonVlogs The EMBOs (the towns surrounding BGC) loyalty are with Makati. Why you ask? The Makati LGU knows how to take care of their constituents. Not only are they well taken care of, they're pampered as well. You have to remember that while not all Makatizens are well-off, the city of Makati is the richest city per capita. It's basically just trickle down economics. The city of Tagiug on the other hand is just riding on the coat tails of BGC. That's why they've opened up their city to more developments and townships. Not to mention that the only reason why Taguig wants the EMBO towns is for the expansion of BGC.

Matt thanks for the walking tour and maps 💙 Really helpful for me as a driver who moved to the 🇵🇭 from 🇺🇸. My 2nd time in BGC yesterday and got lost trying to go back home to Cavite even though I followed google map😂 Didn’t have any problem getting there and only took me 1hr with the heavy traffic in EDSA. It’s the highway where there is a train tracks (MRT/LRT) in the middle. Lol…landmines 😂 so true! Yeah Mitsukoshi mall’s food court is affordable and have good choices of Japanese foods and other Asian countries. Walked from Uptown to High Street and saw some rubbish on the streets. I figured most of the street sweepers were off Sunday 😂. Even the trash cans were full. I would be tired too walking, talking and holding a GoPro. Take care always.

Wow really? 2nd time? You will visit more I bet 😝 That is right! The traffic on EDSA is a no-go for me. Did it with moto-taxis and I regretted it haha. Actually, I also see most of the trash near the north section past uptown as well. I guess it's mostly from the construction workers and pesky teenagers who don't care 😂. my Top 5 Malls are Greenbelt Mall, SM Aura ,Alabang Town Center, the new one its Gateway Mall, , Uptown Parade, City of Dreams , and the classy classy Solaire Resorts with Casino etc

Bro try Forbestown Road and Uptown Parade in BGC for a night out. And go back to Rockwell Center at the outdoor dining strip of Power Plant Mall. In these places, chances are, a celebrity (business/political/entertainment) would be a table just next to you. Lol

I get the feeling if you were in Africa, like Kenya or Ethiopia, you wouldnt be in the slums there, I feel you people only go to these places as a weird sense of "exposure" of the "real Philippines" to make the country look bad, but you will only go there in the ghetto areas in PH, cause you feel that those areas aren't dangerous, but I bet you wouldnt do it in African countries or Brazil and other Latin world countries, yal are funny.
