Please don't take this as an insult. Looking at some of the quality of items in the stores from a Western perspective, warranty here is a big thing. Furniture for instance has a legal warranty. I don't expect a small business owner to be able to absorb the cost of backing that warranty, BUT producing a product that a builder 'believes' will last at least that long with zero problems should be a priority. My hope is that any Westernized Africans leave all the negativities of Western culture behind but brings a few positive things from Western culture to help the African continent grow. Mostly Western culture has gotten many things wrong. While they were busy celebrating the rapid growth and milestones they didn't stop to see 'what' was growing, and now that it is large enough for the world to see, the entire world realizes it was cancer. The biggest thing I see or hear the African diaspora gripe about is customer service in African countries. Long story short, despite your point of view on this is that I can tell you the diaspora will not budge on this. It's like the woman who works at home like a servant all day, at some point expects to be treated like a queen at some point. If the continent will not give us what we expect from hard earned income, I am telling you, we will give it to ourselves. We were forced to do that when slavery was "abolished" here, and we were not welcomed anywhere, so we created our own 'customer service' within our own communities. I actually don't want that because I personally do not want to live in an expat community. I want to absorb African culture. I hope I don't sound negative. It's not my intent. 🤎🖤🤎

10:04 Same thing. This sister has the look we all get when we realize the energy that it takes to keep a Western world moving is just not worth it. 🤔

1:56 Most, if not all of the books in the store window is Western propaganda. I would not read any of this if it were for free.
