warsaw looks so clean!

I moved 3 years ago and I lived just outside Warsaw and I want to go back so bad! I love this city!

Wow, the old town of Warsaw is really beautiful. It's UNESCO heritage.

Remember that this city during the Second World War was completely ruined. There was no stone on the stone ... Germans planned to burn Warsaw with flamethrowers. They blew up building by building. After the war, there was a sea of ​​ruins, nothing more. Some of the Varsovians escaped after the defeat of the Warsaw Uprising, some were killed and shot by Germans. And after the war they came back to rebuild Warsaw stone by stone!

Many people here complaining about the lousy weather in northern cities during fall and winter, while they live in either tornado, hurricane, earthquake or flood prone areas. This video reminds me of a rainy fall day in November in upstate NY, were I reside.

I love this city

The thing that I like about Poland and Finland is the people in there are more civilised in traffic jam than in the UK 😂

When it comes to drivers Poland is a mixed bag really. There's a lot of road rage and the Warsaw traffic ain't helping ;)

Born and raised in Warsaw, left Poland about 30 years ago. I just cannot recognize how beautiful the city looks now. However, I could not see the Blikle Coffee shop/bakery along the Royal Track. This was the best bakery in the city, perhaps in the whole country back then. Miss you, Warsaw!

Thanks. I'll see that I walk around there again in sunny weather which will look better. I'll see if I can find that bakery then. It seems to still exist.

I left Poland 30 years ago..and I miss Poland. I visit every year. I is so beautiful. Kocham Warszawe I Polske.

You should do more walk like this, I mean during twilight where the sky is neither bright or dark. The lights from the street lamps, diners, shops, etc look really great under twilight.

Yes, I like the atmosphere in the evening as well. It seems winter is better for evening videos in Europe with more clouds and longer twillight or "blue hour". I'll see if the flickering with the 50/60Hz issues can be controlled better. Thanks for the comment. I'll keep it in mind

Bardzo piękne miasto😍 Po wizycie u moich bardzo bliskich ukraińskich przyjaciół w Monachium bardzo chcę w drodze do domu na chwilę odwiedzić Warszawę. Bardzo chcę odwiedzić te piękne historyczne uliczki, spróbować pysznych dań narodowych i zobaczyć kultowe miejsca w historii Polski .Jest wiele miejsc, które chciałam odwiedzić, ale też znaleźć w mieście jakieś zaciszne i przytulne miejsca.Będę bardzo się starała i skupię na listopadzie, ale jest możliwość, że niestety nie uda mi się to z powodu ze względu na wzmożone zajęcia na uczelni, aktywne kursy języka polskiego i sytuację rodzinną, ale nie jest mi smutno, bo nawet jeśli nie odwiedzę tych dwóch krajów w listopadzie, to na pewno znajdę czas, aby je odwiedzić w styczniu-na początku luty (będę miał urlop) i jest szansa, że do tego czasu przybędą do Warszawy moi polscy przyjaciele, którzy uczą mnie polskiego, może wybierzemy się razem na spacer💙💛Kupiłem już odznaki i symbole związane z przyjaźnią Polski i Ukrainy🇺🇦❤️🫂🇵🇱☺️Założę je, kiedy tam będę. Yes, I plan to visit Sopot, Gdansk and also Torun in Spring. Sopot is especially nice during the summer - like it there. Never been to Torun yet it's on my list.

I will try see some more places of Warsaw on some other walk next time. New Town is a bit big so I may jog through there mostly. I'll see when I get to Warsaw again but should be in summer.

Warsaw may or may not happen in November ... maybe. I've returned from Poland and went from Katowice through Lodz, Torun (2-3 walks there), Bydgoszcz, Poznan (again), Zielona Gora and Wroclaw (again). Videos will come here over time. Warsaw and Lublin are on the list. Will see what works out before the winter

С любопытством посмотрел это видео. Я в Варшаве был всего пару дней и очень давно, поэтому почти ничего не видел и не помню. К моему удивлению, Варшава оказалась совсем не похожей на наши города ( я из Украины). Если бы не знал, что это Варшава, то подумал бы, что это Берлин. Понравилась ухоженность улиц, тротуаров и дорог, чистота и порядок, но архитектура показалась однообразной и невыразительной. Но чувствуется, что у города есть деньги на поддержание в хорошем состоянии домов и улиц.

Есть деньги, и их много, от налогов жителей Варшавы и компаний, которые в ней зарегистрированы (в том числе около 200 000 малых и средних компаний и тысячи польских и иностранных корпораций). ВВП Мазовецкого воеводства (Варшава также является его столицей) больше, чем ВВП всей Украины ... а ВВП на душу населения в Варшаве намного выше среднего по ЕС. Кроме того, городские власти и сами варшавяне заботятся о городе, чтобы он был дружелюбным для жизни. Не только в центре, но и везде.

Do tych co lamentują że brzydko że depresyjnie. Każde miasto podczas brzydkiej pogody jest brzydkie. Trzeba być głupim żeby komentować że to winna miasta. Jednakże nie rozumiem tej patologi mazania i pisania po budynkach, co w tym pięknego? Do graficiarzy nic nie mam i nie mylcie ich z pseudo graficiarzami, którzy niszczą piękne budynki. A druga czemu jeszcze nikt nie wpadł na pomysł, by ubarwić miasto i wprowadzić kolorystykę w mieście. Gdyby miasto miało więcej kolorów, to te miasto nawet w brzydką pogodę byłoby piękne. Tylu ludzi na świecie i nikt nie wpadł na takie coś, nie rozumiem. Wszystko można tylko trzeba chcieć. :)

Young people or everyone under 40 will be able to speak decent English. University students will definitely speak it. You'll get by without English even in shops - otherwise "nje rosumjen" (don't understand) and ask if they understand English

What a disgusting and sad weather !!! When I visited it, it seemed to me Warsaw is quite nice but I don't like its atmosphere. This video confirms it again: the city also looks sad and not very lively...

I may be in Warsaw end of October again. The weather may be similar as in January with this video yet we'll see. I agree, from my experience the city is lively - especially in summer. While Warsaw isn't one of the main tourist destinations in Poland, I found it nice to spend a few "non-touristy" days on a stopover there. There is lots of space

I live in upstate NY, you want to see depressing cities, don't have to travel to a foreign country, just come to Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse or Albany. How about Portland? Baltimore?

Multiculture can exist only in vide space of Globe like a assemble de monocultures déffirents . In Europe today there are not much of negros, arabs, turks, but when they will be much, they will say: we do not need German, French, Spane languages , for us Englich is comfortable! In Europe there will not be multiculture, but English (not authentique) monoculture. We have a choice - either monoculture mondiale Englishe or monoculture autantique in each State. But this monocultures forme multiculture mondiale like monocolour stones forme multicolour mosaic.

I fell asleep watching one show and woke up thinking it was raining outside ( Warsaw is a shit hole go to Cracow )

@@Skyboy04 If you like the sea, then Gdansk and Tricity area is nice yet cold and rainy most of the year. Warsaw is a modern big and as the Polish capital bigger. It may not be as "beautiful" as Gdansk but the quality/quantity of schools may be better in Warsaw. I hope some student may weigh in for some opinion. It would be best to visit some Polish cities and check where you feel best. There are several walks in the Poland playlist
