Walking in Sarıyer, Istanbul | Ottoman Houses at the Bosphorus
Today we are walking through the old and narrow streets of Büyükdere, Sarıyer. This neighbourhood on the European Side of Istanbul is located at the Bosphorus Strait. We walk and explore the backstreets to find old Ottoman Style streets with charming wooden houses. It goes up and down. The neighborhood is also one of the places where Turkish films and series are filmed because of the wooden Ottoman houses.

Istanbul could be the capital of the world,if it was a one country. Amazing city,miss a lot. Mən Azərbaycanın Bakı şəhərindənəm, Istanbulda 1 dəfə olmuşam və yenə olmaq istərdim,ordan doymaq mümkün deyil.

Bakü daha güzel kanka. Hem insanları hem de mimarisi. 1 ay istanbulda yaşasan nefret edersin. Eskişehir, Çanakkale, İzmir gibi şehirler İstanbul'dan daha güzel. İnsanları daha medenidir, mimarisi estetiktir.

I lived in Istambul for eleven years and first six months was in Alsit Villalari in Buyuldere. It was such a beautiful place overlooking the Bosphorous and Black Sea. Sariyer is such an amazing place to live.

muhteşem evler ne kadar güzeller hepside en az yüzyıllık bir tarih taşıyor bu evler muhakkak korunmalı ve restore edilmeli gerektiği zamanlarda daracık sokaklar ve cumbalı evler ,konaklar, iki katlı evler, Osmanlı döneminden kalan birer kültürel miras adeta.evlerin bir kısmı boş, diğer bir kısmında hala oturanlar vardir diye tahmin ediyorum

Me gusta la variedad de edificios y material con que construyen las viviendas,lo que note, en todos los vd. que vi, la limpieza de sus calles en la mayoría;En mi ciudad se hacen campañas,pero la gente no toma conciencia ,Rosario es tan bonita,se merecería tener un vd. de esta calidad,ya te abras dado cuenta por mis comentario cuanto amo el lugar donde estoy.Todo argentino es orgulloso del país y su gente,por si no lo sabias o no te diste cuenta........jajajaja....... Hepsi güzeldir!♥ Ben istanbul ya da ankara'da ev almayı düşünüyorum.tavziye edersen not alırım!Hangisi daha iyi olabilir diye. Sarıyer is known to be a wealthy reputable neighbourhood i guess!.isn't it?! P.s:i'm not a turkish and i don't live in Turkey either so i don't really tend to have an idea about The neighbourhoods. ama ama turkçe konuşabilirim:)yeah!

If you want to live in Ankara, you can live in Çankaya, Oran and Cinnah, just like the old Ankara residents. For new and modern large houses, it can be Eryaman, İncek, Göksu in the north of Ankara. Istanbul is a multi-centered and big city, foreigners generally prefer Cihangir and Beşiktaş. My advice would be to choose a city on the coastline of my country. Antalya, Samsun, Muğla and Bursa are all big and beautiful cities.

i was wondering if anyone can do a historic documentry on yali houses since there isn't one on the internet. The best most intercetly decorated of these houses have to be some of the most beautiful/amazing houses ive ever seen, espcielly for their size!!!
