Grinshill is a small village and civil parish in Shropshire, England, United Kingdom. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 274. The village is located near the village of Clive, and the A49 runs just further to the east of the village. Grinshill Hill rises above the village to 192 metres (630 ft) above sea level. The picturesque village of Grinshill is spread beneath Grinshill Hill, an isolated rocky outcrop which rises above the plains of the Severn Valley.
Stone has been quarried at Grinshill since at least the twelfth century. Grinshill stone is a Triassic sandstone that was described by the Pevsner Architectural Guides as the "pre-eminent" building stone of Shropshire, and has been used in many notable buildings in the area. Grinshill is also a findspot for dozens of microliths, giving evidence of Mesolithic and Neolithic Settlement - something very rare in terms of Shropshire. If you're looking for a nice stroll on a sunny day, the Corbet Wood, Grinshill and Clive trail is a good option.

The church in the beginning and end is Clive church. As a young child together with my brother i climbed up the steps inside the spire to watch the bell ringers. (Mid 1950's).

Nice video, thanks for sharing. We passed through Grinshill on a humid drizzly day back in August 2001. We were walking the Shropshire Way, and diverted up to the Trig point. The views were not too bad but hazy. All the best, Peter.
