Buitrago del Lozoya is a very beautiful old town in the Community of Madrid. It has a beautiful medieval castle hosting half of the town. Around the town a river coming from a swamp with a nearby dam and spectacular views of the mountains.
My way begins from the outskirts of the town towards the castle, walking around the castle by a wall. Then we visit a church and enter to the center of town to the main square passing near the Picasso Museum, looking at the restaurants, bars and people with their routines.
The weather was little cloudy but it was a pretty day. The town is very beautiful to walk around and see the castle, eat in the square and visit the dam and the natural pools of the Riosequillo`s lake.
