Charlie, next time you are in Atlanta, you need to leave the city limits. Most of the biggest ghettos are in the suburbs. People need to see what's going on in DeKalb County. Drive down Lithonia Industrial. Marbut Road. Wesley Chapel. Places in Stone Mountain. Miles of dilapidated run down houses and apartments. It's really sad and I feel like those places are just forgotten about.

Just cause it's cul-de-sacs, big houses, and you have to drive everywhere, doesn't automatically make it nice. Some of these places you need to see to believe.

@@cellyotb Clayco is really rough. Lots of houses just falling apart. The schools used to be decent years ago, now they are among the worst in the whole state. I don't even think it changed that much, but what happened was over time, newer nicer suburbs popped up and young families with money chose to live in those places, leaving Clayco for people with less money, who couldn't really afford to keep up the community.

I see a lot of comments saying that Charlie is crazy for going to these places but when you look and talk a certain way but at the same time you come humble, respectful, and don’t act like the toughest thing on the block you are usually good. Regardless of how the media try and paint it most violent crimes in these areas aren’t random. It usually be with someone they know that is affiliated with their opposition. But that don’t mean drive into a neighborhood where people are starving with 10 gold chains on and a hellcat either. Basically, don’t be a loud mf.

Well the people hanging out are NOT a threat. But generally it is a very big crime area. However a lot of the violent crime is between rival gang members. The odds of a shooting happening on the very block he’s on at that very moment in time are close to zero. But in a very high crime area (same here in Chicago) you still gotta be careful.

If you walked through there with no confidence someone would indeed take advantage of you. I liked how Charlie walked through groups of people instead of going around them, which is the right thing to do because none of them own the sidewalk anyways. Someone who's new to this stuff would be avoidant and go around the groups, but that is a quick way to get treated like a b17ch. Also only speak when spoken to and keep it short and to the point, like Charlie did. Not saying anything when spoken to could get you jumped, because disrespect is rarely tolerated on the streets.

Im from atl born and raised. Ive seen edgwood go through different transitions, from hippie college kid crowd, to hood crowd, to a mixture of both. ive also seen someone lose their life personally being shot in a car, close to where he's walking in the video, ive seen someone get shot in the back point blank while laying face down over there as well. my friend had his jeep wrangler shot up for accidently getting into a small fender bender with a group of dudes. luckily it missed him, point is im from atlanta and know and have experience in areas that varies on degree on danger, from somewhat dangerous to outright dangerous. Edgewood definitely leans toward the outright dangerous side. however i still would go down there if i had a reason to go, just known what time it is once im down there, plus im used to those environments growing up. I think Edgwood is starting to become a little safer after all the incidents thats taking place there and attract a little better crowd, but its still not safe.@@RyanStewartUSA

While many of them do want more for themselves, being around the wrong folks and being in the poorer and neglected parts of the U.S means most people don’t make it out. Plus it’s actively glorified by rappers and hip hop artists, which makes people think it’s something to be proud of. In short, it’s a bit of both.

If you want to study and climb your way out, they say you're acting white. If you try to police the area to rid them of the drugs they sell to each other that they claim the CIA put there, they fight the police. This is their culture and this is what they want.

It's like an episode of National Geographic. This strange species is very territorial and aggressive and don't hesitate in resorting to violence over the slightest infraction. Crikey, what a culture!!!

You had just passed by me humble abode. I then ventured outside in me cargo shorts and asked the fine residents how is a chap like meself supposed to sleep and rise early to go to work amongst this high volume in low tonal frequencies? Everyone agreed to leave and immediately went home and went to bed.

My black, ., This would be a great opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the Black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement by hard work and a self reliant can-do-nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation
