You said you scored 28 billion, "but that's using crossbow". I tried looking but didn't find anything about this absurd scoring strat. Could you explain, or even direct where we can read about how to score that big with crossbow?

crossbow mania as a mode is completely broken. the scoring is super weird and im only about 95% sure how it exactly works (i asked raymond davidson to look at the code but it only caused more questions than answers), but crossbow mania starts after making 3 crossbow shots in the game. the value in the mode is 10% of each crossbow you shot in the game and it goes through each of the 3 shots then restarts. For example, if you hit a 50m 25m 70m crossbow, the value start at 10m (5m from crossbow and 5m base value), then 12.5m, then 19.5m. after you hit 3, it loops back around to the first shot. the next 3 values would be 24.5m, then 27m, then 34m. this value builds forever, and the mode never ends until you either drain, or dont hit a shot in 30 seconds. the reason you can totally break the scoring is if you spend the entire game lining up one 500m crossbow shot, then just skip the next 2. then the value of crossbow mania builds insanely fast, and on my 28b game I had my base value for each shot over 450m. I hit a 400m shot with a 6x inlane during 2x playfield for almost 5b point shot. good luck!

@@EscherLefkoff That sounds interesting, can you explain what you mean by "skip the next 2"? You mean just never start your 2nd and 3rd crossbows? How would you start Crossbow Mania then?

Wowee, some very large values scored in that game! Competition mode really makes those multikills and horde worth heaps! My best is 8b on regular settings. Will have to investigate the massive crossbow scoring you mentioned. See you in a few weeks in Perth! - Tom Casey

yeah its a little bit of cheating counting i'm playing on comp install, but as a home game it makes it so much fun to counter the overpoweredness of crossbow cheers

DMD refresh rate with my camera (long way of saying my camera is ass)

This has very little to do with pinball if you play with these types of settings. Playing with his tilt adjustment pfffffff. Then it will be a piece of cake for his good player.
