Take a walk with me around Caramoan Proper in Camarines Sur Bicol Philippines. This is the place where the show Survivor Philippines in Caramoan was filmed, more specifically on one of the Caramoan Islands, not the town proper. During the filming of Survivor Philippines, the locals told me that there were a lot of jobs to go around which helped the local community. Now all I can see is a couple gift shops in the town who sells the Survivor Philippines souvenirs, just a small reminder of how Caramoan was put on the map. These days, the place seems almost like a ghost town. This is my second time here, and I haven't seen any more people walking around then last time I was here two years ago. But this place is more my style, not touristy like the more popular places Boracay and Palawan. If you like remote, non-touristy places, then Caramoan Caramines Sur in Bicol Philippines is the places for you. As far as getting to Caramoan, I recommend either taking a bus/van or driving an SUV, you may have issues with a smaller car due to the roads not being very good on the way there. Enjoy! =)
