Walking Around the Cahuita National Park in Costa Rica

Cahuita is a village on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, near the border with Panama. It's a gateway to Cahuita National Park, which has coral reefs and the white-sand beach of Playa Blanca. The park’s rainforest shelters toucans, monkeys and turtles. The black-sand beach of Playa Negra, known for its strong waves, is north of the village. Farther north, the Sloth Sanctuary cares for injured and orphaned sloths.
