Walking around Mariehamn | Aland Islands| Ep 3 | The Rustic Wanderer

After resting a bit, I finally ventured out to explore Mariehamn, the capital of Aland Islands. In the vlog, I visited the following locations:
- Lilla Holmen: a recreational area for kids with a mini beach and some birds and bunnies. Also I covered a funny story of a lonely boulder.
- Government buildings: I visited the Parliament house and the Town hall and saw them from the outside as the campuses were closed owing to the weekend.
- Sodragatan street: some of the oldest houses are on this street and looked very rustic yet well maintained
- Overnasstugan: one of the oldest houses and now a museum
- Maritime museum and Pommern Ship: I explored the Pommern with an audio guide to learn about its journey across the 7 seas. I also visited the maritime museum and learnt all about how the maritime trade and travel evolved in Aland over the years.
