I used to take the 97 bus towards Kitts Green (where I used to live years ago). I only had a bus experience of Bordesley Green . So it was interesting to walk along it this time.

@@zaynemal5413 Birmingham isn't ALL rough, there are some really nice areas to live in the suburbs if you care to look hard enough, maybe the segregation is in your mind, People with lots of money live in the best parts, people with an average income live in middle upper class parts, people with lower incomes live in the working class areas. Many people from.lower income areas find ways to mobilize themselves through social classes and go to live in.the best parts of any city anywhere in the world, it's down to education, knowledge , motivation, perseverance and eventual success.

@@musiclover5023 because compared to where I live now there is a night and day difference, Bordesley Green is a inner city area with a lot of really good people but if you took the time to do a bit of research you’d see that it’s one of the poorest areas of the city, and in my opinion from living there for more than 25 years I feel like the local government (city council) don’t really care about the state of the area and don’t invest enough money into improving the community for the residents.

@@musiclover5023 So because you eat in a few restaurants in the area you think that you know more about the place than someone who lived there for over 25 years and has spent another 15 years visiting weekly? I know that there is a lot of really hard working legit and religious people in the area, but I know for a fact that the area is the main hub for heroin for the wider region and generates ridiculous amounts of money which in turn gets invested into legit businesses to be washed, and in turn the community as a whole do benefit from it but there are some people who end up suffering terribly also.
