At one point in the game Tony mentions that the russians that made his cellphone are probably listening to all of his conversations but he just didn't give a fuck, lol

"You Fucked Up" is the best game over screen in history.

I love how Matt completely didn't notice the guy with the shotgun from the movie trying to kill him. And then killed him without realizing who he was.

Well his head was gone, so it's somewhat understandable!

As a Cuban in Florida, I can atest to the fact that we have monolithic statues honoring south Florida's patron deity Tony Montana. They are constructed out of a unique mixture of Gold, cocaine, arroz con pollo and various Cuban pastires.

Indeed. But that is only for the reenactment statue brought out during the THAT FUCKING COCKSUCKER SOSA Festival held every midsummer's eve. My family always attends. A jovial time filled with unnecessarily loud conversations held in close proximity, the 20 FUCK salute, croquetas and shit talking Fidel Castro... the prick.

My favorite detail in this game during the beginning if you let the shotgun guy kill you from behind it’ll a play a cutscene where Tony falls into the fountain like the movie ending.

I'm honestly disappointed you didn't instantly turn around to kill the shotgun guy. That was my first instinct to do when I played this.

I still wish this game got some sort of remaster or rerelease. This was a weirdly good-ass game despite being a videogame based on a film, but then again, this was also still in the old era where these types of games will still be solid despite being a tie-in cash grab.

The devs more than likely wanted a good Scarface game as much as we did. The movie had already been out for a while so I wouldn't call it a cash grab.

@@Beforezzz Iirc one of the options in the menu of this game was advertising the remaster of the movie which was out. Either way, this game is weirdly how I got into watching the movie, so I guess it worked.

Lots of licensed music, a few actors likenesses... I doubt it will ever be remastered. And that's sad

The Scarface game, one of the best GTA clones at the time. (That bartender is Nika Futterman, aka, Asajj Ventress in 2008 Clone Wars, Sticks in Sonic Boom and Khan Maykr in Doom Eternal)

It was also very inovative , how you could talk to every npc, something that had never been done outside games like rpgs and point and click adventures (and many probably think red dead redemption 2 made it first while this game had done it 12 years before) also how custom cars could be delivered, where harder to destroy and gave you access to your arsenal through the trunk , made it the first sandbox game that made buying cars make sense

To be fair, a No More Heroes and Scarface crossover would be sick.

Scarface is an amazing game, it's not easy to get running on PC but I recommend you practice the lock-on. There's no right mouse-button aim, but it locks on to the nearest enemy when you hold it. It's super effective with the Shotgun once you get that. But the game is super cheesy and probably my favorite non-GTA game, even over Saints Row.
