I have used walkers for 20 years and have a number of them, can’t beat them for leaf cleanups. One other thing that is amazing from a commercial standpoint is using a grass handling system Walker like you have shown in the video but also purchasing a $2500 mulching deck and after the fall/winter clean ups switching to the mulching deck. They are unbelievable, I can honestly mulch a foot deep in leaves with no debris, occasionally I will go over this twice but I’m not collecting leaves, having to stop and dump or having to go to the county dump and pay $, I only switched over 2 years ago and it is an unbelievable time saver and money maker.

If this is model S you’re talking $10. Model D takes the cake at $20. So respect a landscapers price for his work if you see him/her with one of these. Put some RESPECT on their name and business because they’re not about games.

I’ve used walker for 2 years and this is my 3rd season, I just purchased the walker T27i for $17k. Just make money guys, get out there, work your ass off and do the best job, you’ll build up a client list. I mow 45-55 lawns per week with the walker no problem. With the new machine I’m expanding and my goal is 75 lawns a week (solo). Happy cutting season!

I have a bobcat zt120, basically the same design. Bought it used with 200 hrs for $3000. Great for lawns with lots of flower beds and pools, the grass doesn’t fly everyplace! One reason I believe it gives you a better cut is because of the extra suction from the blower and less weight on the cutting deck. Not pushing the grass down. My mower is almost 20 years old and saves me so much time on clean ups, just suck up the leaves and dump! Great alternative to a walker.

This mower has more wheels to turn so it’s won’t cut as fast as your toro turn radius is wider proper 3 point turns will be longer opposed to your toro keep that in mind I seee these walkers as situational mowers clean up only on my opinion and the best clean up mowers out there but cut quality your toro which is really an exmark will cut better if you have the commercial grade toro not the residential

I have been using Walker for a couple of years now. For Commercial usage very limited. Excellent at sucking up leaves. It will put down better strips if you change the back wheels to the double tire and less turn most at the same time. Sell the snowblower attach Imo used it for 1 New England winter spent most time suck in snow and it absolutely killed the machine so many repairs in the spring.

We bought a walker in 2001 with a 48" deck. It's slow. In 2016 We bought a T27i with a 52" deck, it's faster but still slow. This summer I bought a used 74" deck and it's faster then our cheetah scag with a 61". All these years I thought walker was slow but now I love using the 74" deck on big yards. Cuts the time in half.

I was amazed at the manuverabilty of his machine. I looked into one of these machines myself, but like you said they cost a lot. I bought a Husqvarna MZ5225 which has served me well over the years but definitely not a walker. Great video! Hope the mower serves you well! Walkers are great for smaller accounts, but otherwise they're too small and too slow. They vacuum well and are great for cleanups, but during the peak growing season they're too slow and it's too time consuming to keep dumping. I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. kzread.infoUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

I have one these and it is without a doubt the biggest pieces of shit ever made. Might be ok in clay or compacted soil. In Sandy soil or dry soil the rear mounted bagger shakes dirt right over the engine. Even with religious oil changes and filter care, a huge amount of dirt gets in the engine. Engine life for me is under 800 hours on the original Kohler before it was worn out. The fans for the bagger wear quickly. Plan on replacing it after 400 hours. If you order the mower without the bagger, you end up with mower that is slower than a cheaper mid mount zero turn.

There is Nothing special about the deck. Lot of commercial mowers have heavy gauge reenforced welded decks. Look at a SCAG deck, makes a walker deck look like a Tonka toy.and parking brake is crap. It won't hold it on the trailer, so you have to strap it down between lawns.

For home owner with irrigated lawn, this mower will last a long time. For pro cutter cutting in dry or Sandy soil, this mower is a money loser. I have owned and cut with Ferris, SCAG, snapper, Ariens, Husqvarna and Exmark. All make good mowers. I wouldn't recommend a Walker mower to any professional unless they use it to cut small. Manicured, irrigated lawns. I will say they leave a beautiful cut.

I mean for bagging always been the best but cut quality no way dude!!!???? Third caster doesn’t give off a great clean look to me you do a test with this mower on a good manicured lawn a big lawn and put it against a lazar z or scar tiger stripping and cut quality would be cleaner than the walker any person or customer would be able to see that especially if they are used to the stripping of a lazar z or scag and that’s the difference maker

  • @SilverCymbal

The cut is better on the Walker. Try one yourself, the vacuum pickup is unbelievable.. In New England these are used on every premier property because of the cut and pickup, we get lots of pine needles and debris and the lots are getting smaller and smaller and these maneuver in tighter spots. On open yards, larger lots I would choose a Deere, Scag or Exmark. Not saying the other brands don't deliver great cuts but there is a reason people are buying these Walkers for crazy high prices from a company that no one even heard of 10 years ago.

  • @spin0491

Silver Cymbal but that’s my point I have cut with these before and the vaccum you refer to is caused because of the bagging system it’s suppose to but the reason why nationally guys don’t use these as number one when pickup is not needed is because side dis charge is usually a quicker/better situation I always prefer mulching or side discharge outside of fall leaf pickup especially in growing season is best to use clippings as more nutrients are reused but I mean using it all year around is not the norm for most compared to say using a scag tiger for pure cut quality and time management..... and no this doesn’t cut as good as a scag nor have natural suction when side discarding as say something like a scag..... not to say these aren’t good mower cause they are

I owned a Toro ZMaster 3000 and 2 Navigators and while they are nice machines the cut wasn't as good. The Navigator is pretty much abandoned by Exmark. Dealers hardly stock them near me and they discontinued the snowblower and other accessories. The other bad part is try selling a used Navigator there are several that are 2 years old that guys can't even sell for 60% of what they paid. Not saying they aren't nice but support, parts and accessories matter and Walker has that wrapped up. Not sure about the thick metal stuff, the Walkers are built tough and their decks are awesome. Personally I really like the Exmark Zero turns in that category if speed is the #1 need for huge spaces.
