@@ash-fz3tw I agree. I think people need to realize hundreds of thousands of people auditioned and these kids were chosen for a reason. Rick was part of the audition process and he wouldn’t just put random kids in for Grover, Percy, and Annabeth. Anyways, I’m really excited for the show:)

I can't wait to see Leah playing as Annabeth. Rick said she is perfect for this job, and everybody agree that they found the perfect cast for Percy. I have high hopes for her. Also I get that people wanted a blonde Annabeth, but what people forget is that we love Annabeth for her personality, not for her looks.

Very similar to Ryan Reynolds, I think they just work as actors because they are not trying to hide any part of themselves when acting.

@@Errors404 oh is it ? I had no idea.. But i guess for me it's ok even if the characters aren't 100% in sync as long as they at least look like their intended age and do justice to the characters.. What i meant by mixing up the books was what they did in the first movie - Lightning thief ..if i remember right , they left out a lotta things from book1 but went on to add a fight scene with Hydra which happens in the 2nd part of the book series .. but like ..why ?! It's been around 8-9yrs since i saw that movie but i still remember being very pissed at that for some reason ..lol

@@loveyourself9017 it's probably becuz directors and producers can't feel an ounch of satisfaction from making a complete copy of a story. So their ego makes them put their creation to present "their work", which is the most selfish way to use the fame of the story and expectation of the fans. I don't like some of the new cast especially Annabeth. And I don't have much hope this time too, cuz adaptations are meant o fail, 99.9%. So I view of these movies as "Percy Jackson lookalike" So that it doesn't ruin my image of the story. I used to stay up all night reading ten series of Percy Jackson. And then rereading it.

Especially since he has a sarcastic sense of humor wnd even some of the facial expressions I pictured Percy having. I hope the industry doesn't mess him up because he is really young and there are so many celebrities who start young and have been abused by the system.
