An overview of the splitter I modified to process my firewood. i needed to be able to split large logs and odd shaped wood as efficiently as possible with minimal handling of split wood. An integral conveyor carries the split wood to a trailer, truck or pile. It started as a Timberking splitter. If the wood is pre cut to 16 inches and ranges from 8 to 18 inches in diameter I can process up to 1.5 cord per hour but usually float around 1 cord per hour. I still need to ad fenders, a chainsaw scabbard, a large tool box and a sleeve for pickaroons but all and all it is complete.
