جشن گلاب گیری در تهران
از هزاران سال پیش، ایرانیان با کاشت این گل‌های سرخ، سنت گلاب‌گیری را حفظ و ارتقا داده‌اند.
گلاب‌گیری نه تنها یک فرآیند تولید است بلکه یک هنر است که هر ساله مورد تقدیر جهانیان قرار می‌گیرد.
در قرن نهم میلادی، گلاب به‌ عنوان یکی از کالاهای تجاری مهم، از طریق جاده ابریشم به کشورهای دوردست مانند چین و هند صادر می‌شد. این گل نه تنها به خاطر زیبایی‌اش بلکه به دلیل نقش مهمی که در فرهنگ و سنت‌های ایرانی ایفا می‌کرد، ارزشمند بود.
بر اساس اسناد تاریخی، گل محمدی به‌ عنوان یکی از گیاهان اصیل و بومی ایران شناخته می‌شود که تاریخ کشت آن در این سرزمین به حدود 350 سال پیش باز می‌گردد، زمانی که این گل زیبا تنها در ایران یافت می‌شد. با این حال، در دوران حکومت صفوی، گل محمدی همراه با دستگاه‌های گلاب‌گیری به سرزمین‌های عثمانی صادر شد و به تدریج، شهرت این گل ناب ایرانی در سراسر جهان گسترش یافت
Gulab Giri festival in Tehran thousands of years ago, Iranians have preserved and promoted the Gulab Giri tradition by planting these red flowers. Gulabgiri is not only a production process but also an art that is appreciated by the world every year. In the 9th century AD, rose water was exported to distant countries like China and India through the Silk Road as one of the important commercial goods. This flower was valuable not only because of its beauty but also because of the important role it played in Iranian culture and traditions. According to historical documents, the rose is known as one of the original and native plants of Iran, the history of its cultivation in this land goes back to about 350 years ago, when this beautiful flower was found only in Iran. However, during the Safavid era, the rose was exported to the Ottoman lands along with the rose water machines, and gradually, the fame of this pure Iranian flower spread throughout the world.
