Colonial Airstream Hello Patrick ! I love everything you guys have " Airstream wise ! " I went from wanting a Landyacht to now ! The beautiful 33 foot Classic ! With the movie screen and that full rear bathroom ! Wow ! Now if I could only get that with the extra space in the back to carry 2 to 3 motorcycles or just extra thing's ! I'm guessing that would be a " Custom Order now ? " . Whatever I get .... I'm buying ONLY FROM Colonial !

Really informative and interesting vid... great job Patrick. We had a Bambi about 30 years ago, out grew that, got a Flying Cloud, several bigger ones in between an Airstream Bus... then the kids got their own lives... boy would I love to get a new small one again. Once you have one NO OTHER COMES REMOTELY CLOSE. I can't tell you how many camp grounds we had rain and Airstreams were they only ones that NEVER LEAK. It's worth EVERY CENT!!!

Splendid little trailer. Don't need a huge truck to pull it with. For a person and a pet or even a smaller couple. Very classy. And no one demonstrates like Patrick. May I ask, at frame 41:40 inside the rear storage compartment, in the left rear corner. Is that the vent for the gray waste? What would prevent tank odor if it is? Grey tanks can get to smelling pretty rank too.

Yes, that is the grey tank vent. It is an air admittance valve which will not allow odor in the trailer but allows air in when water passes through.

You make me miss NJ! I would buy from Patrick. :)

Very very nice trailer; I watched the 16J and now, wow! The 19C is really getting to me... is the bed averaging out to a Queen or full, not sure about the measurements?

Only way to get a queen in an airstream is to get a 23 footer or higher. I wish they had the option of deleting other stuff bc I really want this trailer model but not having a queen is a deal breaker for me and the wife. The 23 international serenity and 25 foot international serenity are my fav as far as queen set ups

Those white outlets look very cheap on an airstream. A free upgrade from manufacturer is a must.

Can you give us an idea of how nany years us the max on a payment plan andvthe warranty

If the refrigerator goes bad, can it be taken out the front door or through a window? as always, good tour ----

Everything inside of an Airstream is carried through the entry door during construction.

Gerat video,, filming with one hand and a foot shows has was and well built everything is !! Airstream seems to be a big break on trailer chores and repairs !!

Our dealership, Colonial Airstream sells many Airstream to folks from your area. They typically would ship their tow vehicle to our store, fly in and then have a great cross country trip back.

How would one go 100% off grid in an airstream? i.e. everything running off battery power/solar instead of having to be plugged into the grid for the water heater and stuff

If you install a large amount of solar on a piece of property with the proper amount of batteries you can make it 100% off Grid by plugging the Airstream into that system.

I believe that vehicle has capabilities to tow this Airstream safely.

I can't believe these things weigh this Much! 3800 Pounds! 590lbs tongue Weight? what if you have a weight distribution hitch?

Cory. A weight distributing hitch system is recommended.

Just for fun, (And I'll bet you guys already thought of this) you can do a Sat. Night Live type skit with Patrick dressed like a gaudy used car salesman..."Just look at how many staples we use vs. only a few screws. And nice and light particle board is EVERYWHERE! since we care about your gas mileage, etc. So come on down to Discount Dick's!!!...and as always, we have free hot dogs and kool-aid for you since that's just what we're all about....there is such a thing as a "free lunch" at Discount Dick's!!!!!!!

Your walk throughs are so thorough and so informative. I’m going to be buying a 16’ or 19’ for full timing after I sell my house so I will have to work and be stationary for about 2 or 3 years with short trips before heading out full time. So the AC is a big concern because in the summer we have extreme heat.

Does Airstream offer an option for a washer/dryer?

Yes, with the V6 tow package and after market brake controller along with a good weight distributing hitch system with sway control.

That style toilet does not meet RVIA building and safety standards for production units so it would have to be something done aftermarket.

Hmm might not fit I'm 5'8

The Bambi was a 1961 model that carried on for several years. It was small and had a single axle. Our 1958 Airstream "Flying Cloud" has a single axle too. But it's not a Bambi. "Overlanders" at 29' could come with a single axle. Contrary to the video announcer, number of axles (ie.single) do not make it an Airstream Bambi.
