This man is legend and inspiration for all of us true Indians. This living legend has democratised the medicines including for AIDS in the world. His mission in life is making the medicines cheaper by producing generics, and fighting against big pharma patents. Hats off!

The owner / heads of Cipla, Cadila (zydus n healthcare both), lupin n a few other visionaries really forced the Govt of India to have a diff patent laws in 1960's. These visionaries gave the country an opportunity to make develop its indigenous allopathic medicine industry, that was not run by the big-pharma monopoly of the west. I do remember that my friends used to get request from their relatives working in the Middle-East Asia to get them some OTC items n drugs like Boroline, Cleracil, Soframycin, Nova-Sulpha etc from India during their visit to them as the same were priced at 5-8 times in 1990's.. Due to this we are in many ways, not all but still in many ways, Atma-Nirbhar BHARAT..

CIPLA is manufacturing low cost drugs only for Indians if you have problem then don't buy CIPLA medicines buy high price American medicines which cost more than 5 times than CIPLA

Cipla has provided free sanitisers and immuno booster supplements to twenty thousand policemen and BMC staff in Mumbai. The entire staff of 23,000 at Cipla was provided with free kits to protect them from the disease. Do not even get me started on the work that Cipla Foundation has done in the remotest parts of India during the pandemic. Do not speak without facts.
