Walk & Talk with Danish Reyaz | Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor, University of Science & Technology
The Founder Chancellor of the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya & Chairman of ERD Foundation, Mahbubul Hoque, an Alumni of AMU,is a visionary eduprenuer and institution builder who has given a new perspective to holistic model for institution building with humble beginning.
Born to a rural family at the remote Purabgul village in Assam’s Karimganj district, Mahbubul Hoque had a turbulent early life as he lost his parents and supportive elder brother during childhood. He had to earn by doing private tuitions and selling home grown vegetables in the local market to continue his studies. He did his B.Sc. from GC College Silchar and MCA from AMU in the year 2000 by securing 1st Class 2ndRank. During his years at AMU, he idolised Sir Syed and dreamt of following his footsteps.
