Walking on the sidewalk that surrounds the Omaha,NE Historic Livestock Exchange Building can often be unpleasant. It is the only walking area, except for the sidewalk surrounding the building, for the 200+ people living on six of the floors of the 11 story building. About 20-30 semi-trucks loaded with 45 head of cattle, or recently emptied, pass by on work days. This semi has passed all three entrances to the campus. These trucks can splatter people and vehicles that come too close, (those of us living in South Omaha can tell you about this - tough to get the stuff and the stink off!) and they too often splash liquid manure on the streets. E-Coli and other pathogens can be found in this manure.
The smell of this one was overwhelming - trust me!
