I don't think it's this normal to be laughing uncontrollably at 6 in the morning. Great video. Long live the "Vangina" .

Nice work. Also good to see we are going to have decent weather this coming week. I have a compressor to change on a rack because it was no longer pumping.

I had an issue like that this year on a W/I freezer. during my second visit, I found that the install company had not adjusted the low pressure switch from factory settings, so during cold winter ambient temperatures the unit was not shutting off during pump down (I'm in southern ontario, canada). this system was installed by another company 5 years ago, and nobody has had to touch it according to the customer. surprised the hell outta me. I told them I'll likely be replacing the compressor before long. great video man. I dig your old van.

biggest killer of all electrical components are heat and moisture. since heat isn’t a concern, that leaves moisture. Remote that electrical part in the managers office, and run the remote sensor to the return of the box I think its limited to about 500 ft, then when it fails, your only replacing a sensor.

Hey Dave good video. In my area the health inspector probes the food. If the food is over 41 degrees the customer gets written up. I try to keep the walk in boxes 35-38. Any warmer and when the food gets probed it will be over 41 degrees. Maybe your area is more lenient?

For 700$ it's a good enough lift for EVAP coils, ice machine. It was a little short to reach the roof of a Comerical building, I had an EVAP cooler on it but roped it up the rest of the way. I've used it about 6 times. ( it's not mine ) comes apart easy for transport.

Hello, good morning, I enjoy and learn a lot watching your videos, thank you. I have a question, that procedure you did with the Solenoid valve, what is it for? Could you explain to me? Thank you. 🙋‍♂️🇻🇪

Yes, I just change one! I changed thermostat, sensor location, it always happened when business was closed. Walking cooler at 25 degrees next morning every 3- 9 months, produce ruined, lettuce ect. Magnet did not work. Solenoid had weak spring forcing it to close did not close 100% all the way. Very had to t-shoot.

just curious, jim talks some about the sman usage but continues using the testo 550 alot. I notice you have used both along with old style. I personally use the sman4, so do you have a favorite or a preference?

I like the 550 Bluetooth a lot now. I still use the robin air gauge for quick checks and the anoles for recovery, i liked the S man for AC calls and micron gauge feature back in the day, but hardly use them now. I still think it's a good product. The testo smart probes look good for the $ especially after Jon M. HVAC water test video.

I've had temperature probes go out of range on electronic stats, then go back right again, also had a few where the software has gone screwy and they don't turn off proper or suddenly think they are hot gas defrost and don't turn the compressor off etc. Had a milk tank freeze the milk a foot thick once, had to cut the ice up with a wood saw and throw it out the access hole! Just a few ideas!

I see you played some music from the late, great Christopher Wallace, better known as the Notorious BIG as well as Biggie Smalls...Good troubleshooting on this call, as usual. Did you ever get a callback on that job and end up having to changeout the liquid line solenoid valve or did the cold control thermostat replacement you did resolve the problem?
